So he cant throw 4 picks and fumble twice instead of 1 pick and 1 fumble?
Its sad, McElroy has had 1 career start, and mark has had 50 and McElroy still looks better. |
McElroy though doesnt inspire confidence to be more than a back up though |
Neither does Sanchez lol. THere both not starters, and Mark is even worse. _________________

Sanchez doesn't even inspire that. _________________

McElroy has not looked better, the offense has been screens and check downs. Sanchez has had a bigger responsibility than McElroy. Not to mention half of our sacks are on McElroy today, he refuses to throw the ball away or at all unless someone is open |
He's playing scared and the one time he let it rip he didnt read anything of the D looked as bad as Sanchez's picks... Plus he took tons of Sacks thay were on him ... No real improvement from Sanchez ... heck Sanchez probably is the 2nd best QB on this roster ... Kerley Being the first ... |

MARK SANCHEZ WAS A TOP 5 PICK WITH 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE! HE SHOULD HAVE MORE RESPONSIBILITY AND HE STILL IS ATROCIOUS!
Mark Sanchez should not even be the comparison here anymore. That era is over. Its time to find a new QB. Its that simple. McElroy did as best he could and this was legit the worst the offensive line has ever played. We need a whole new offense from top to bottom. _________________

Who cares about where they were drafted? Rex was right, Sanchez has given us a better chance to win, all this McElroy talk was nonsense. And I know the Sanchez era is over, I have been saying it for awhile but if you really wanted to win, you put in Sanchez. The season is officially over so let McElroy have a go. McElroy should be starting next week BTW. _________________

My only issue is that McElroy holds the ball to long. I'm not blaming all of that on the oline.
We currently have the #12 pick of the draft, another L could get us in the top 10. _________________

I played out a bunch of situations yesterday. I had us winning next week and ending up with the 14th pick. _________________

McElroy should still be the starter next week. We might be able to get a better idea of whether or not he deserves to compete for the starting job in training camp next year. _________________

I can see that happening. I just hope we pick the right person _________________

Chance Warmack would be a good fit. _________________

Yeah that seems like the best decision unless we fill the position with fee agents. _________________

When comparing players after they are already on your roster ... Where they were drafted basically is a moot point. McElroy played very sub par, sure he didnt throw 4 picks like Sanchez but he did have a similar turn over rate per game with his first start ... and both where on him ...
He doesnt play smart he plays afraid which isnt going to get us anywhere . Either way Sanchez is done for us but McElroy isnt the better option on the roster. Hell at this point Tebow probably would have been a better option because he'd at least do somethin more runnin the ball.
I cannot for the life of me understand why McElroy being so "smart" doesnt know how to minimize his losses and throw that football away. And also it seemed he only wanted to throw a ball when he could see the whole route no anticipation and his one Pick was just rediculous just as bad as Sanchez's worst.
We Need a QB ... Offensive Line Fixes... and a pass rush ... |

For next game just go into it with McElroy and Sanchez active. We aren't even using Tebow for punts anymore so there's no point having him active. _________________
