Why would we force him out of town to bring in a guy who has had exactly ONE NFL start? I'd be fine with Shanahan but replacing Cutler with Cousins is madness IMO. | This. Apparently I need not add many responses, because you are beating me to all of them AZ. |

I would be happy with Kyle Shannahan at HC.
Try and convince Rod Marinelli to stay at DC, he might now get a chance somewhere else.
Hire Madmikes man LaFleur, QB coach at Washington, to be the none play calling OC.
Try and retain Dave Toub. _________________

But I think it's time I quit trying to challenge this whole thing. I think I'm annoying people and coming off as a troll, sorry guys. |
Last year Cutler was 7-3 and playing some great ball before getting injured with a worse supporting cast than he has now, why would they consider getting rid of their 29 year old QB for a 34 or so yo QB coming off of 4 neck surgeries in one year who would cost nearly $100M? |
Not to mention there is no way in hell Manning would have come here to play behind this offensive line. _________________

Jay Cutler is remarkably similar to Bill Wade after the '62 season and Jim McMahon after '84.
Smith tinkers with the defense. The GM puts some resources into offense. 2013 looks good.
The Vikings are very close and the Packers are looking good.
Four Pro Bowlers on defense and a WR on offense.
The NFC N gets even more competetive next year. _________________ "I have to keep playing so people over 40 will have somebody to root for on Sunday afternoons." George Blanda who played until he was 46 |

Having more talent on offense does not make that big of an impact when you still think about, coach and plan an offense in the Stone Age.
This team has no offensive culture and Lovie does not care about offense and cannot hire anyone who does.
The offensive problems are far deeper that talent. _________________

You come in saying that? Please, you don't know. Lovie Smith and Mike Tice have to go, not Cutler. |

That guy has been hating on Cutler since the trade to Chicago don't feed the trolls. _________________

0 and 16. It is there and will be forever. The world will end before someone decides to pull the trigger and offer Rod a Head Coaching job again. _________________ "I have eaten burritos bigger than you." J.J. Watt to Ray Rice. |

I edited this. Calling another poster names isn't acceptable. Future offenses will result in warnings. Thanks.
