It was my idea to trade for him today in the GM Mock to be our #2 TE :3

I wanted the 7th round deal and not the Chenne deal doe but either/or I suppose

I might consider trading you Chenne for a 7th.

I mean I'm not surprised but I don't see what makes this more than a rumor...

Just posted this somewhere else, but figured it'd be relevant here too

Quote:
I mentioned this somewhere else earlier (I can't remember where - may have even been in this thread) but for someone that is such a "leader" it flabbergasts me how stubborn he is. Maybe failing in Jacksonville as a QB would be good for him as it would open his eyes that he is not meant to be an NFL QB. He can have a future in this league, but it is not as a long-term fixture at QB. I think he is stubborn though. We have seen the soundbyte of him in Denver saying that he is the only one that runs the ball close to the goal line (paraphrasing) and it is always painted in a good light, but I have always taken it the other way. As good as his intentions are and as legitimate his good character is, he is a "me" player. That mindset isn't limited to guys with bad character.

Timmy can't run Chip's offense...he can't throw it, and makes terrible reads...oh yeah, also can't read a defense. So no.

He sure was able to read Pittsburgh's defense in the playoffs with their #1 ranked D. POW

No I mean the one where he gutted the Pittsburgh Steelers D all game with several 20+ yard passes totaling 316 yards and ending it by throwing a strike to Thomas which hit him in stride, allowing him to make a play to win the game. POW

Not the one where he got his doors blown off in the next game?

Oh. The one where Big Ben was hurt and unable to play well? The one where a large part of the Steelers defense was hurt? The one where Ryan Clark was a healthy scratch because he isn't capable of playing in Denver without dying? That one?
