| Well, as part of the self-evaluation, the defensive philsophy may have to be examined. Blitz, blitz and not get there. Maybe a little more 4 man rush. Foster has to learn to not get sucked into the line of scrimmage on play fakes. He is allowing the middle of the field wide open. |

Good game Bucs. That defense is impressive, good line, David is insanely good and fun to watch.
What's the direction you guys think for your team in the off season and draft? _________________

Good game today guys. I know you guys have had a rough few weeks, but I wouldn't worry about it for next year. This team has a great foundation with a couple of cornerstones emerging in David and Martin. Also, I still think Freeman has a solid future in front of him. _________________

Saints win, Cats win, really starting to climb in the top ten.
On the bright side, I still like what I see from Gaitor. I think he is establishing as the #3 CB. |

Not a big fan of this years quarterback class.
I'm not ready to give up on Freeman but I'm getting there. I'm tired of these stupid decisions and that dumb looks he has running off the field.
I think we should either A. Let Freeman play out the rest of his contract. If he doesn't improve vastly then draft Teddy Bridgewater.
Or
B. Call it quits on Freeman and sig either Alex Smith or go after Matt Flynn. |

I think that is it for Freeman. He may come back next year, but with all the weapons he has now and still getting the same results I don't see him becoming a Franchise QB.
Honestly how many mediocre QB's suddenly find greatness after 4 years in the league? Steve Young and Rich Gannon both needed a change of scenery. Eli Manning relied on his Defense (Which Freeman can't) to get through a playoff run and suddenly gained confidence.
The QB that some of us thought Freeman would become and all of us wanted him to become looks to be in serious jeopardy. |

I'm sure Freeman's a great guy off the field and a hard worker, but what he does on the field makes me hate him so much. I wish he would just volunteer to bench himself for the good of the team, because Schiano's too stubborn to do it himself. All Freeman had to do today, was not screw up. That's what he did today. 1 TD and 8 INT in his last two games? Pitiful. How some of you can still support him after today baffles me. You see something that I just don't see. Hopefully you guys are right about him, because knowing our terrible managerial decisions, we'll probably keep him. This franchise just really frustrates me. _________________

I didn't get to see the game due to Holiday festivities, but it looks like that's probably a good thing. The defense seems to have done a decent job but I'm not sure it wasn't just because the Rams offense is anemic.
Another 4 INT performance from Freeman I think solidifies him not getting an extension this offseason... hopefully. I can only be optimistic that when we get Nicks and Joseph back that we can force the run with Martin that opens up things with Freeman so that next year isn't painful. But I would need to see him play lights out in order to deserve any sort of extension. I would rather trade him before the deadline next year if he isn't panning out. Hopefully Dominik is thinking this as well.
I know people are fired up about Freeman replacements but I think this offseason will be a failure if we don't bring in some sort of competition for Freeman. Flynn, Smith, rookie, whatever, but we need something better than this. I do believe that there are as many games this season that Orlovsky would have been the better option over Freeman as games where Freeman played well. _________________

Double post.
I'll take this opportunity to say Happy Holidays to everyone. I really enjoy reading and posting on this sight and that wouldn't happen if it weren't for the community we have on here. _________________
