This is what I have for our salary cap going into next year without roll over, resignings, etc. I think I accounted for our RFA properly. I used this for the contract costs:
http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=506753
So who is expendable at their cost? What can we expect for extensions coming up? (EDS, Shields, etc).
Our total cap right now for those interested is: 109,638,650
The 2012 Salary Cap is: 120.6M
Without contract escalators that we don't know of right now, we can roll over: 10,961,350
Thoughts? The salary cap is not projected to move much next year. _________________

Just at first glance, some of your number seem off. Not glaringly off, but off. _________________

I'm running the numbers as well. Curious to see how ours differ. _________________

This was my first ever attempt at it. Some trial and error. Think I have it all cleared out now. I used spotrac to get my #'s. _________________

Excluding our potential RFA and ERFA, I have the Packers cap currently at $112,829,755. And I was using Rotoworld for contracts, but I have a few questions still.
Signing bonus for Charles Woodson (is there any?)
Other bonuses for Desmond Bishop, Jermichael Finley, James Jones, Clay Matthews, Jordy Nelson, and Ryan Pickett
Just discrepancies about the wording. _________________

Just one major difference I have that isn't possibly accounted for.
B.J. Raji: You have his cap hit at 6.195, but I have him at 9.79.
Signing Bonus/Years: 2.4 million/5 years (0.48 million cap hit per year)
Salary: 4.09 million
Bonus: 5.22 million (if Raji plays in at least 35% of the snaps) _________________

Well there is obviously some discrepancies somewhere.....because you have Roto at 12 plus mil and Pete D. from GBPG, who is usually dead accurate with things, has the Pack at just a hair over 7 mil.
I used to have a capologist friend that had these things down to a science being in accounting, but he's disappeared over the years. |

LIS, it's more about reporting than anything. _________________

Feel free to double check my numbers, but I've got us at 28.47 million in cap space by cutting Jermichael Finley, Jeff Saturday, and Charles Woodson.
I've got a great mock, but my dang GF wants to spend the entire day with me. _________________

No, calculate yours as well. The more we have, the more accurate it should get in theory. _________________

We can do the Nate Silver thing and then average all our calculations together to see what we get. It should be closer than mostly everyones. _________________
