Since '05? Or even further back?

If you consider Nate Burleson an above average WR, then yes 05. He was just coming off of a 1k yard season.

As @DanBarreiroKFAN mentioned, sounds like it's better than 50% chance on Greg Jennings but it may not get done until tomorrow. #Vikings

Maybe the delay is making other roster moves like releasing or restructuring certain players. Question

Really hope this get's done. Maybe Jennings can teach Ponder a few things he picked up from Favre and Rodgers.

Back shoulder fade would be nice.

This is in reference to apparently Cassel hugging Jennings when he saw him and telling him to join the Vikings. Laughing

Sid Rice was never an above-average WR. 1 good year does not an above-average WR make (if you can understand that. Wink )

Antonio Bryant had 1200+ yds in 2008...was out of the league 2 years later.

Bobby Engram had a nice 14-yr career, but no one would consider him above average despite having a year in 2007 where he had over 1100 yds receiving.

Guess i am in the minority as usual. I sure do not want Jennings. He's in decline, maybe steep decline, and he's an ex-packer.

With Brett Favre, Harvin averaged 13 yards per catch. With Ponder, 10.

With Rodgers, Jennings averaged 10.2 last year.... ( 14 year before)

Ponder average: 6.1 YPA

Rodgers average: 7.8 (9.3 previous year)

Favre averaged 7.9 in 2009.

Pretty sure we can expect a steep decline for any receiver getting targeted by Ponder in the Musgrave "attack".

In 2009, Sidney Rice was way above average. I'm sure you can understand that.

so?

do you truly evaluate players with regard to who they've played for before?

i think he means a wr being above average for their career, not an isolated season.

That doesn't make him an above-average WR. An above-average WR is more consistent. Sidney Rice hasn't come close to those numbers before or since.
