Next domino in Jets QB situation: Tim Tebow will request to be traded/released after season assuming McElroy starts last 2 games, per source
So why if in fact he had the choice, did he pick the Jets over the Jaguars? _________________

I'm thrilled he wants out, I personally never wanted him here in the first place and thought it was an awful move to acquire him. Only reason I could think of for why he chose us over the Jags is he probably thought he had a better chance to win here. _________________

Not really shocked. I don't like him as a player, but he is a great person. He came into a jacked up situation. Hopefully a team will trade for him. _________________

Same here. God if only some stupid team would take Nacho and we'd be well on our why to addition by subtraction. _________________

| So is Tebow's QB career basically over now? All GMs will take note of how a rarely-used 3rd-string QB get the nod over Tebow. |

Feel bad for Tebow. Woody Johnson kind of ruined his career. I hope he gets a shot at a starting gig for his next team.
I know a lot of you guys feel differently, but I like Tebow a lot and I know he's a lot better than Sanchez. Who knows, maybe our season would have looked different with Tebow as the starter. He can't throw it for crap, but he takes good care of the ball. Sanchez's turnovers were by far our biggest issue, so Tebow's ball control and boost to the running game might have done us a lot of good. _________________

Not defending Sanchez but Tebow was a turnover machine last season. _________________

Personally I feel really sorry for Tebow ... I feel like he was forced on Rex and ... the situation hasnt helped either party... from all accounts he's a great guy and maybe we can get him to a team who's coaching staff actually wants him and will give him a fair shake ... his situation here just wasnt going to be good from the start especially because its apparent he wasn't the decision of our coaching staff.
Wish him all the best whereever he ends up ... and I would understand if anyone felt he was disrespected by our organization ... used more as a marketing tool then a player ... |

#Jets traded #108 & #188 for Tebow. Based on the trade value chart that would've been enough to move up to #102. That pick? Kirk Cousins. |

| Tebow got millions of dollars and still has millions of devote followers whose presence alone will likely force Tebow to stay in the league years past hisviability. He'll be fine |

Jaguars, Cardinals, Bills, Raiders, Titans and Chiefs all could be in mix to acquire QB Tim Tebow from Jets after season. |
The more the merrier |

| I could see the Cardinals getting involved. They need QB help and may actually play him. |
