In games during the 2011 season when Cobb started getting more targets, GJs on the sidelines looked frustrated. Even the 2010 season before Jmike went down he cried like a baby because Rodgers always went to Finley. But when Finley went down GJs got more targets and had a great year ending up with the owl.
Also reading into some of his interviews he seems like hes not happy being on a team with so many weapons because he always wants the ball. He wants to be the man so let him take his talents to southbeach he'll be very happy there.
Maybe im reading too much into it, but thats just my observation. |

I wouldn't consider that article him crying like a baby. Im sure he was frustrated at the time with the lack of targets, and I would assume that many players would get that feeling as well when they are not producing the numbers they expect of themselves. It's not like he threw anyone under the bus or anything.
Regarding 2011, Cobb only had about 31 targets all year so I do think you're reaching there. Plus there was even a SoundFX from Week 4 2011 against the Broncos where Greg was joking around and telling Aaron to get Randall a TD because all of the other WR's had scored.
I can't say I know whether Greg loves it here or not, but during his time here he has been tremendously classy and has been a great leader. I wish him the best wherever he goes.
I know he will hold a special place in the hearts of many Packer fans. |

It is going to be very interesting to see what kind of offers other teams give him this offseason. Will his recent injury history make others shy away from offering him big bucks? Will TT tag him? When does FA start again...? _________________

| ? An article from 2 years ago and making something up from Cobbs rookies year where he caught 30 balls is how you formed that opinion? Wow. |

To be fair, there are some forum members that form opinions on their own perceptions, which is even worse in some cases.
My take is GJ wants the ball more, all WRs do. Big whoop. However, it does not make WRs any more or less inclined to stay with a team. Money does. GJ had this pay day in mind when he signed his last contract. It is likely his big money deal that he has staked his career on. Whether that is with Green Bay or not remains to be seen, but it is not likely. I just hope the Pack can get some BETTER compensation out of the process (other than a comp pick) if they cannot bring him back. |

This may have been covered already, but does anyone know the ball park price it would take to resign Greg? I was thinking about how much Finley is set to make and thinking I'd rather have Jennings, cut Finley, and draft Eifert in the 1st. Not sure it would work though. _________________

It's not, because he's a professional troll.
But he actually believed that Jennings never played with Brett. Idiot. _________________

He also thinks Tebow can throw and would be a svior for any team willing to start him. LMAO. _________________

i'm real curious to see where he ends up. If I had to assign odds to it:
Miami - 3:1
Washington - 4:1
Houston - 8:1
Buffalo - 8:1
Indianapolis - 10:1
Pittsburgh - 12:1
New England - 12:1
Denver - 12:1
Seattle - 12:1
Field - 2:1 |

I didn't know Washington was in position to spend that kind of money, they have that cap penalty from the league plus a typical Dan Snyder salary cap situation.
Indianapolis, I'd be surprised, they seem happy with their young guys and Wayne showed he still has it left.
Denver, can they afford to pay 2 #1's as Demaryius Thomas is going to be up to get paid himself in two years.
Buffalo has a $7M+/yr receiver in Stevie Johnson signed for some time. David Nelson tore up his knee and is a free agent but still that team needs other positions more then a $10M/yr receiver to catch balls from no one.
Isn't Pittsburgh also in salary cap jail? I know they have a number of cuts they're expected to make but when have they ever really been big FA buyers either?
Rest I can all agree with. Miami seems almost too good of a fit that it can't possibly be that easy. _________________

Washington is not going to be able to do anything this offseason. They have an $18 million salary cap penalty that put the redskins $4 million over the 2013 salary cap. I think they are trying to restructure guys.
I think Miami is in the best position and after that I would actually go with Minnesota, fingers crossed they don't go after him. I really hope we tag and trade him to Miami. |
