[Yes, I enjoyed the alliteration - bite me]
Height - 6' 5"
Weight - 260 lbs
Age - 24
This is a call to jump on the train as it is leaving the station.
Albright has consistently been called the a smart football player - and all throughout training camp we were told that only Lee knows the play book better. Albright has developed nicely for us. He was incredible in last nights game. I would like to see him start (with Sims) to end the season.
His awareness is stellar. Refer to Carr's INT against the Steelers. Watch for 55.
“The thing with Alex is, he’s a very smart guy, but he’s also very physical, and when you’re playing this team you need a big physical guy in there,” Ryan said. “Alex is definitely that, and he’s also got the position flex to play all over the field. I think that led to the demise of the Bengals in just trying to to identity Alex, and it caused problems for them, just what he is. Is he a lineman? Is he a backer?”
But moving forward, how would everyone feel with Albright having a more prominent role? For information's sake, Albright had a faster 10 yard dash & broad jump than both Ware, Lee and Spencer.

Love that Albright - if not for injury history, he could've been as high as 3rd round pick - undrafted instead |

he's Spencer's replacement |

| The Steeler game was the first time I noticed Albright make a play.. he made a few. I will wait until I see more before I jump on the bandwagon but so far so good! |

I was very impressed and said so few times during and after the game. He's so tall that Big Ben didn't even attempt a couple of throws in his direction. He's a player I really look forward to seeing some more of over the next 2 weeks. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

I've been on the Albright bandwagon since last year's training camp. I really like this kid and hope he turns out to be another UDFA steal for us. Afterall, he is another RKG. _________________

| Have noticed him making a few plays in limited action on defense, but he always seem good on special teams, especially kick off coverage. He's a restricted free agent in 2014, so we have some time to develop him. Like to see what he's got in these next couple games, so we know if we can release Connor or not. |

he made a couple bad plays at first but he has really come on lately which I love. our backups actually play well under Garrett and Ryan. would love to see Albright continue to make plays maybe he can steal Spencer's spot eventually or at least compete with Wilber if Wilber can ever not be injured _________________

Jury is still out for me, but I am warming up to him. If he continues this type of production, it will allow us to cut Connor in the offseason and save us some CAP space. _________________

Ernie Sims should be in the mix, too. He's played well for us. _________________

Remember that Albright actually is supposed to be an OLB. He's just crosstrained to ILB this year. _________________
