Wow, no Sherman? I posted this here because SoCal is lagging with GDT but you made this thread referring to the Seahawks game. _________________

I suppose he could win his appeal?
Watching the live stream of the press conference now. Should be starting any second. _________________

Harbaugh being Harbaugh gives a half answer. He said it is not long term but the next few days will determine if he plays against the Seahawks. _________________

"Yeah...uhhhh...Justin Smith is a....uhhhh...football player."
Sometimes, it's painful to watch these. _________________

Harabaugh was asked if Smith's injury was similar to a Parys Haralson type of thing and he replied with "no", meaning that it's not an injury where they expect him to miss significant time.
He did say it depends on how he feels today, tomorrow, wednesday before they know about this weekend. Harbaugh being pretty quiet about it so take it for what you will _________________ San Francisco 49ers 2013 Retirement Tour;

Harbs has a little bit of the sniffles too. I find it humorous when he looks at the beat writers like he doesnt know what they mean by the questions they ask.

| Quote: | There's no word on whether Sherman could miss the Seahawks' game against the San Francisco 49ers' on Sunday. The timing makes me think Sherman will be available for that game regardless. Suspending a player so close to kickoff would seemingly put the team in a bind. That is only my feel for what is reasonable, however.
Suspensions are often announced early in the week, giving teams time to make roster moves before full practices resume Wednesday. It is unclear whether any attempts by Sherman to stall the process would alter expected timelines. |

Best part so far.......
"do you anticipate filling the final roster spot this week?"
JH: "Yes"
"have you already done it?"
JH: "No"
"Do you have a timeline as to when you will be filling that roster spot?"
JH: "Yeah, we uhhhhhhh, will do that at some time uhhhh, this week."
WTF Jimmy, answer the goddamn question, He is such an arrogant a hole sometimes. I love how he operates, but geez, it's painful to listen to grown men just sit there and get made to look stupid.....hahaha _________________ San Francisco 49ers 2013 Retirement Tour;

You could tell Harbaugh has had it with Akers but will still support him. He said when you have the opportunities you HAVE to convert them and we still have faith in him. Will not bring anyone in to compete......................... _________________

Matt Maiocco said it seems iffy Justin Smith will play because he hardly ever leaves the field and there was too much pain for him to continue. I'm kind of leaning the same way so the game gets even that much tougher. We desperately need to get the #2 seed so we can rest up our guys and give Justin Smith four weeks off before the first playoff game. _________________

I wouldn't mind Justin sitting this one out. Its going to be a super fysical game, and I don't want something that would linger for the playoffs. As much as I want that bye week, Justin's health is vastly more important. Plus, we can handle the Seachickens without him. _________________

This sucks i really hope we win this week and some stuff goes our way to lnd the #2 seed so we can get healthy. |
Question for the folks who know more than me...
Hopefully he can be back for the playoffs... Does this push DL further up the draft charts than it already was?
Personally, I'm seeing our needs as follows:
DL
OLB
WR
C
CB _________________
