There is a first for everything. And who cares if they get us to the SB, I'll take the playoffs before I even use the S word. And both Gruden and Cowher are making a nice pay check at their jobs now. If they come back its because they want to. |

I want Lovie Smith so bad. He can bring Urlacher with him. He can rehire Ron Rivera for DC. He can hire Rod Marinelli as Dline coach. Then try and get Norv Turner as OC. _________________

Agreed.
Don't think we have a shot at Norv tho. _________________

Hey guys, wasn't Nix supposed to be a really good GM or something? You guys have had good drafts as of late it seems. _________________

i don't know if he was supposed to be a good GM, he has had some solid drafts for us. I would say overall he has been a B, B- GM. If we fire him i hope we promote our assistant GM Doug Whaley to GM. _________________

He's an alright GM but it's not attractive for future HC's to have a 73 year old GM. _________________

He can evaluate talent. That is his forte. I personally think we should keep him. We need some sort of continuity, we just don't want to throw out all our scouting work so far this year. Keep him until he is ready to step down and hand it over to Whaley. Some are just upset he gave Fitz an extension and that he hired Gailey. _________________

Perfect. Give us Andy Reid or Lovie Smith. Big name coaches that have never won a SB. They could win their first one with us... in about 6 or 7 years lol. _________________

I don't think he'd leave PSU for Buffalo. I'd be happy to welcome him in, but I don't think we're even on his radar. _________________

You're probably right but PSU isn't as attractive in today's world as it was last year this time. Plus I've heard he is mad because they lied to him. Told him it was a legal matter and had nothing to do with NCAA. Then they took his scholarships, can't play in bowl games, and his players still can leave this year without any penalty. _________________

Oh I agree completely, and I heard those same things. I guess I just meant I don't think he wants to be the HC in Buffalo.
Something else to think about though, after all his guys stuck around when they could have jumped ship like Silas Redd did. After all his preaching team, and unity, and sticking together. After his players went on TV in support of him and the program. How would it look if he left after all that? I hope he stays at PSU. _________________

Doug Marrone will interview with Bills. Not sure how to feel. Get your own coach Nix. We found him first.
I am torn. Hope it is just an interview and nothing more. _________________

Just saw that. First up, Marrone and Ray Horton. Let the festivities begin. _________________
