I know McCarthy said after the game he is sticking with Crosby but how much longer can Crosby really last if he continues missing field goals. Personally I would have cut him by now.
Here are a list of FA kickers that could come in and play.
Ryan Longwell(that would be interesting)- last year in Minny he went 22-28
John Kasay- went 28-34 last year with the Panthers
Neil Rackers- went 32-38 last year with the Texans
These are just a few that I wouldn't mind coming to Green Bay in time for the playoffs. I think Longwell would be a good sign and be a fan favorite right away. |

Longwell isn't coming back. No chance. _________________

Kaeding and Cundiff are out there too I think. Kaeding and Kasay would be my options _________________

McCarthy said we're not changing kickers.
His stubbornness regarding Crosby is absolutely ridiculous... _________________

Rex Ryan's belief in Mark Sanchez is ridiculous. MM showing Crosby support is smart. You don't just lose the ability to kick. He's still just waiting to turn that corner. Two weeks to give him reps before it matters. _________________

Isnt that what he said three weeks ago? We know he didnt lose ability to kick, thats not the problem. We all know its mental, but i dont care what it is. If youre not putting it through the uprights than its time to find someone else. Its going to start being a problem when we face good teams and are going for it on 4th and 3 on the opposing 28 yardline. If Crosby just hits one today than the game is out of reach, couldnt even do it _________________

I mean it's not like Crosby's been an all pro either. He's been a middle of the pack kicker for his whole career outside of last year. McCarthy clearly has lost confidence in Crosby so why would you stick with him? Have Masthay "accidentally" punt Crosby in the leg and stash him on IR and go get a kicker. That way we don't lose him and Slocum can try and get his confidence back in the off season. _________________

I think he showed that he could have been an above average kicker his first two years in the league. But was just another solid GB type kicker that wasnt neither great nor bad. Totally tanked this year. _________________

MM's support is commendable, right up to the time it costs us a game. For MM's sake, I hope it doesn't happen in the playoffs. It will then transform to utter stupidity with hindsight a complete non-issue _________________

well the problem for me is that it very well could have already, multiple times. why wait until it actually does? _________________

| Well, if you think about it, he missed the game tying field goal vs Indy |

He missed two kicks in Indy so he really cost the Packers the game. |
