I don't know about his blocking or lack of according to the article but we need weapons and I would pursue without doubt a year ago he was good.
Philbin is ideal to know whether it I character problems screwing him this year. _________________

| I said this was a real possibility in another thread yesterday because he is due a big roster bonus. If philpin gives the stamp of approval i say absolutely. |

Checking out his Wikipedia page and found out he's Jorvorskie Lane's half brother. Neat. _________________

It makes sense to go after Finley but he seems mouthy to the media. Not sure Philbin will like that. _________________ "Yesterday Is History, Tomorrow Is A Mystery, And Today Is A Gift. That Is Why It Is Called The Present.""

I could see Finley in a Miami uniform next season. At 25 he would fill a huge hole that we have and he knows the system so it would be an easy transition. _________________

In the end Philbin knows the guy....coached him....if he feels he's worth bringing in then he will....
I look at the Matt Flynn situation last off-season and see how right he was.....he knew that Flynn wasn't the answer and they offered him a contract that showed it. I assume that if Finley is released and Philbin feels he can help the Phins then he will be offered a contract. _________________

Just for poops and giggles...
If the Phins do bring in Finley and sign Jennings....can you imagine the match-ups....
QB Tannehill
RB Bush
WR Jennings
WR Hartline
WR Bess
TE Finley
or
QB Tannehill
RB Bush
WR Jennings
WR Hartline
TE/HB Clay
TE Finley
or
QB Tannehill
WR Jennings
WR Hartline
WR Bess
TE/HB Clay
TE Finley
Could be pretty effective and if they also decide to address the WR position in the draft.....
QB Tannehill
WR Jennings
WR drafted stud
WR Bess/Hartline
TE/HB Clay
TE Finley _________________

Packer fan here.
Finley is the most hated Packer among fans. He flashed brilliance in 2010, but he downright does not block -often!
He's also hated for his illiterate tweets and self-indulgent celebrations. If he catches an 8 yard pass you'll often see him first do a shark-fin dance and then do a YMCA style Y-O-T-T-O. YOTTO stands for year of the takeover, which has been his thing for 3 years, oddly enough.
He's still young at 24 and runs like the wind for a guy that size but the consensus among Packer fans is that he's mentally weak.
The drops are also absolutely out of control.
EDIT: In fact, you'd be better off going after Greg Jennings, who the Packers will probably let walk with the emergence of James Jones and Randall Cobb (alongside Jordy Nelson). The guy might be the best route runner in the league and has been a top 10 WR for a number of years now. _________________
