Seriously. He's barely even doing a cursory look downfield before checking it down. If after half a second, our secondary has players within sneezing distance of the receivers, he just dumps it to his running back.

Good game. Panthers played well enough to win and the Chargers helped out with their penalties.
Not a pretty game for the offense but they got the job done and capitalized off of the defense. Newton got hit too much, though. Another game with no turnovers. He hardly ran at all, either. |

I think he was referring to no turnovers for Cam, but the offense did what they had to do to win. Defense did their thing, once we were up by 21, we put it in cruise control.

I was at the game. The D of the panthers showed up. Shut down danario alexander and stuffed (mostly) the run. harrassed rivers. O did enough to win. Run O was alright, pass O was meh but they did just enough to win
D went soft in the second half and it was lucky we were playing the Chargers, esp Rivers, as they were just terrible the entire game. Good win but Rivera really wants to get fired (referring to giving up the penalty on a kinda crappy punt) Cam is maturing but he needs to do it under a diff regime.
