Okay folks, now that our season is just about over, let's see how many numbers we can fill up in descending order that are relevant to this season for the Dolphins!
Copy paste the list below and add your next number to it as we go. I have entirely too much time on my hands, so I have the first 10!
1: Current team in the NFL with a 3,000 yard passer, 1,000 yard rusher, 1,000 yard receiver and 15+ sack defender. (Houston Texans) Assuming Reggie Bush gets 40 yards on Sunday, team number 2 will be the Miami Dolphins.
2: Ryan Tannehill's QB rating rank in the league on play action passes (125.6) trailing only Matt Ryan's 127.3. Directly behind him in order are: RGIII, Romo, Schaub, Newton, Roethlisberger, P. Manning, Luck, Freeman, Brees and Brady.
3: Receiving touchdowns for Dolphins WRs this season.
4: Players on defense to register more than 20 QB disruptions (sacks, hits and pressures combined): Cam Wake (86), Randy Starks (36), Jared Odrick (34), and Olivier Vernon (21).
5: Dolphins QBs in team history with over 3,000 passing yards in a season. Dan Marino (13 times), Jay Fiedler (1 time), Chad Pennington (1 time), Chad Henne (1 time) and now Ryan Tannehill.
6: Rushing touchdowns from Reggie Bush in each of the last 2 seasons.
7: Interceptions (of 12 total) thrown by Ryan Tannehill in between the hashes.
8: Receivers in Dolphins history with over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season. Mark Clayton (5), Mark Duper (4), Irving Fryar (2), Brandon Marshall (2), OJ McDuffie (1), Chris Chambers (1), Tony Martin (1) and now Brian Hartline (1).
9: Career sacks for Koa Misi, behind Cam Wake (43.0), Randy Starks (22.0) and Jared Odrick (11.0) on the Dolphins all time list for active players.
10: Years since the Dolphins last had back to back seasons with more touchdown passes than interceptions. 2001-2002: Jay Fiedler and Ray Lucas combined to throw 38 TDs and 34 INTs, both seasons were positive. 2011-2012: Henne, Moore and Tannehill combine to throw 32-25, both seasons so far are positive. Miami is +1 with 1 game to go.

I'm pretty sure there was one more qualifier in that instance, something like a safety with a sack or something relatively random. |
