I think he's going to be a good one. | Me too. I know we need someone like Shabazz or maybe the SF from Georgetown, but I would be really excited if we got Oladipo. Mclemore would also be amazing (but us a pipe dream at this point). _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

Oladipo is role player at best. That would suck _________________

I wouldn't re-sign Calderon unless it's a good deal for us and he would have to accept a back up role.
I've been looking at FA and one guy that I wouldn't mind is Tyreke Evans. Joe has said he wants 2 guards that can handle the ball. Evans can play both point and the 2 and so can Knight (although not at a very high level yet).
Give me Otto Porter in the Draft. A better Tay imo.
G: Tyreke Evans
G: Brandon Knight
F: Otto Porter
F: Greg Monroe
C: Andre Drummond
That's a solid young core right there. Oldest person in that group is Evans and he's only 23. _________________

We already have 2 combo guards who aren't best suited to play a pure PG and you want to bring in a 3rd? We need a pure point, preferably one who can shoot from distance as well. If we dont keep Calderon, we better draft Burke or sign someone similar to Calderon. _________________

why you think that?
he looks like he will play lights out defense and is and explosive athlete that can get to the rim and shoot the three. id be thrilled with olidipo _________________

But anyway Sacramento ain't letting Tyreke go, that's why I never considered him an option. _________________ Are you getting Ziggy with it? |

I like Burke. I really do. I just don't like his height and using Paul as a comparison isn't fair for him. Paul didn't have near the supporting staff Burke does and Paul shot nearly 50 percent from three both years. _________________

Awesome announcement by the Sooners.
Oklahoma and Ohio State are playing a home and home in 2016 and 2017.
I love it when good programs play each other.
Slim, we will have to make plans when these games get closer. _________________

How many "pure" point guards are there anyways?
I wouldn't mind Calderon if he wasn't such a terrible defender and one thing that bugs me about him is the amount of dribbling he does at the top of the key.
I think Evans would be a good guy to roll the dice on. Underrated defender, good at getting to the rack and has improved his range. (3 point % is up significantly.)
I think we would need a good veteran coach to get the best out of him. Sac has done him no favors.
If you don't want to try him at point, what about this:
PG: Chris Paul
SG: Tyreke Evans
SF: Otto Porter
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Andre Drummond
You could bring Knight off the bench or explore trade options. _________________

Andy Reid isn't rebuilding the Chiefs he is going to continue building on what they have. Now they can tag Branden Albert if they have to.
They've got good skill position players and trading for Alex Smith was a good move.
If they have a good draft they could do some damage next year. _________________
