This team just wears you down.

So much false hope, so much "this is our year"! And it never pays out, never changes, the culture is a losing culture, nobody wants to come here to play, nobody wants to come here to coach. We're the worst destination in the NFL, we have exceptionally inept for longer than any other franchise in the NFL, and that doesn't look like it's changing anytime soon.

God willing Chan gets fired after this debacle, but I doubt it. And even if he did, even if he got the boot this year, who's out there this year for candidates that we have a chance at getting? Chip Kelly isn't coming here, neither is Gruden. So what, Ray Horton (forcing us to switch defensive schemes back to a 3-4 and switch scheme for the 5th time in as many years) or Perry Fewell (who isn't coming back) or the newly much maligned Chudzinski?

We're stuck in this ugly pit of mediocrity gentlemen, and there isn't much I can see right now that would pull us out of it.

Good game fellas. (not really Wink )
Are you all thinking you'll go offense in the draft/FA?
I thought you had a solid defense, good d-line, young solid DB's. LB seems to be a big problem. I watched the whole game and just do not remember seeing any LB make a play except a sack in the 1st IIRC.

Fitzpatrick is quite bad, playcalling is worse, but the draft for qb's is obviously not dynamic. So would a solid playmaking LB be a smarter route this year to draft?

No doubt QB and LB are our biggest needs. But in the 1st we could also take a look at CB and WR.

I'm glad I had the stomach flu yesterday and I could only watch a portion of this lousy game.
