Well I did say this is what would happen a month ago. Andy to ARZ just makes a ton of sense. They are so offensively challenge, they can't find a way to get Fitz the ball and Kevin Kolb is there QB.
Enter the Jedi and they'll throw it all day to Fitz and Kolb will not look half bad.
They real question is is marty coming with him? My guess is he brings Chilly,Shurmar & Obi Juan, with him. |
That would be his dream staff. AR at the helm. Marty, Chill and Shurmur calling the plays after the first 15. And Juan juandamentaling it up. _________________

And AR was an OL coach for the Packers before coaching Favre. He could make them like like decent players with the help of #Juandementals. _________________

I wish we'd at least interview McCoy. Any word on us interviewing someone outside of Atlanta's staff? _________________

Andy and Fitz finally hook up. Just wrong place/wrong time. |
I think this could work for Reid. He has a D, he has the stud WR he has always wanted. and he has an semi-adequate RB in Wells....let Reid go make the OL changes, bring in a WR or two and he could let Arizona challenge San Fran and seattle _________________

Under the radar, but not a bad option - from the Payton tree. |

Do you remember at all what happened? |
Yeah, Saban took over a 4-12 Miami Dolphin team from Dave Wannstedt, led a team with Gus Ferrotte at QB to a 9-7 record in 2005, winning his final 6 games of the season. Then in 2006, he tried to sign Drew Brees, but Brees failed a physical with the team doctors, and his GM traded for Daunte Culpepper instead (for a 2nd round pick), who blew his ACL, MCL, & PCL in the previous season. That led to games started by Joey Harrington & Cleo Lemon, and record of 6-10 in 2006, despite having the 5th ranked defense in the NFL.
Then lied to everyone, bolted to Alabama, and Miami went 1-15 in 2007 with Cam Cameron as head coach.
I'd say he wasn't really given a completely fair shake in the NFL. |

It was said before but going to repost this anyways:
http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/20130101_Eagles_president_Don_Smolenski_will_also_have_input_on_new_coach.html
| Quote: | | It was expected that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie would use general manager Howie Roseman's input when determining the new coach, but another key person in the process is team president Don Smolenski. |
| Quote: | | Lurie called Smolenski a "breath of fresh air" and a "real forward-thinking" leader. Smolenski has been with the organization since 1998 and was chief financial officer when the Eagles hired Andy Reid in 1999. Smolenski was named president when Joe Banner left in June. |
Lurie, Roseman, and Smolenski... I hope Lurie has some football guys who are willing to advise him during the HC search. _________________
