Probably just using him for the Rooney Rule. He's actually been much better lately. Of course having McCarthy out and our crappy safeties doesn't help.

There is no Rooney rule in college. They don't have to interview any minorities in college. It's a legit interest. They came from Lubbock to see him.

Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray has reportedly interviewed for the head coach opening at Texas Tech University.  Gray, a Lubbock native, expressed interest in the job on Monday.  FOX 17 captured exclusive video of the Texas Tech plane in Nashville Tuesday night.  Since our report aired, a television station in Lubbock (KAMC) has reported that Tech officials did indeed interview Gray.  Late Tuesday night, Titans head coach Mike Munchak told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean that  he isn't aware of an interview taking place.

If Munch wasn't aware, I'm not surprised. He doesn't look aware of anything on the field either. But me thinks Gray is trying to get out before Bud takes a broom to the place.

I wish him luck if he is offered the job. If it was this time last year I would be worried, not so much now.

I know there isn't a an actual rule but I don't think he is HC material. Could very well be wrong though.

He might be like Schwartz and be a better HC than and DC.

He isn't as bad as a DC as some like to make him out to be either.

Too much of the blame goes on coaching here. If Chris Palmer's firing didn't show that, nothing will.

Well I can't say that I blame the man if that is the case. If Bud's gonna bring down the hammer after the season, Gray's gotta make sure he's not a$$ out when the smoke clears.

Maybe Munch had to many concussions during his years in the trenches?
