He should have been on the team all-year instead of Haggans. _________________

Don't bother unpacking just yet, Eric, but I liked you and am glad that you are back for now. _________________

We should get him a job on the team, so he can still stay here each time we cut him. He could live in Harbaugh's basement, or something. _________________

I think we all got overexcited because he got 2 sacks in the second half of an early game... didn't mean much. But when he played against 1s, he still didn't look out of place, great effort, consistent pressure, even though he didn't get to the QB. Can't be much worse than the pass rush we got from Parys Haralson anyway. _________________

How would you guys feel with going into next season with an OLB core consisting of Aldon, Ahmad, Bakhtiari, Fleming, and Johnson? Would there still be a need to grap an OLB early in the draft for depth purposes or do you have enough faith in Bak? _________________

I wouldn't freak out about not selecting an early round rush LB. I really liked Bakhtiari when he played the SOLB role. He was already better in pass coverage than both Parys and Aldon.. and was better than Parys when playing run D. We obviously have unproven options with Cam J. and Fleming. Maybe a rookie rush LB would be better.. maybe not. Just depends on how the board falls... and if there are better options at other positions for the taking. _________________

Yes, I remember he came back down during the last game or two. I completely forgot about Haralson. _________________

When did we cut him? I thought we had signed him back earlier this season? _________________

This may be pointless (well obviously not to me), but I can't help but be curious about names and their origins. At the beginning of the 20th c., a tribe in southern Iran helped depose the Shah by marching on the capital. The tribes name was Bakhtiari. I can't help but wonder if there is a link there... _________________

He's obviously from the San Mateo branch of the Bakhtiari clan. _________________
