I like Cooper alot.
However at 38 I like about 5 more people than him
If we went Fisher, then Cooper, I would be more than happy. |

I do not know how to respond to this, but, um...the...what..Just..No. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

However, drop off between Cooper and Warford and other guards isnt as much. |
It really isn't. The perceived gap is huge, the real gap is not. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Cooper is more than likely not even an option for us at 38. Ill be taken in the mess at the end of the first round by a playoff team wanting to add another peice to their offensive line. Possibly to Seattle. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Well considering Manziel just had the greatest freshman season ever... Plus he's already taller and will probably grow considering his hand/feet size. _________________

Considering that Tim Tebow posted arguably the greatest collegiate football season ever I am just wondering what it has to do with the ability to translate to the NFL?
Just to throw this out here; Russell Wilson as a rsFR at NC State threw 17 TD's to 1 INT on 275 pass attempts.
This with a running game that ranked 87th in the nation, with help from the 400 yards and 4 TD's provided by him and a leading receiver that grabbed 31 passes and a team that ranked 83rd in the NCAA in sacks allowed despite their mobile QB.
Johnny is and likely will continue to be a far bigger threat with his legs than Russell is and was. But Russell was advanced as a passer of the football, even in 2008, far, far more advance than Johnny. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Tebow's throwing motion is 8 seconds long. It's been the knock on him from day 1. You knew right away it was unfixable. _________________

And there are a lot of things in Johnnys game that need to be fixed. To assert that he is further along at this stage than Russell Wilson was is just false. He hay have had a better college football season than Russell ever did, but that does not mean he translates better to the Pros than Russell did at the same age.
I mean Braxton Miller just had a pretty special season for Ohio State, is he now further along than Russell Wilson was at the same age? _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

No but neither Miller or Wilson was as accurate (at the same age). _________________

Based on? And please don't say completion percentage. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Ok. Less balls hit the ground...?
In terms of throwing downfield JF was superior but in Wilson's defense he didn't have elite college tackles. Still, in traffic Manziel was superb. _________________

Champ --
I know you don't see Geno as the perfect fit for Arians system. Say he falls on draft day, magically, to pick #7...... do you take him or do you take a lineman like Warmack/Fisher ? |
