DJ and probably fill us in a littl bit, but what do you think of Lonnie Pryor? He was shoehorned into the FB role at FSU, but he ias good size and I have seen him outrun what look like good angles at the NCAA level.
6-0 230, great speed, no wear. Could be worth a stab as a a RB in the NFL. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

This year is a very strong and deep draft. Picks in the top 100 are going to be so very valuable.
At least that is the consensu I find coming from most drafniks. Basically it is not the greatest draft to need a Quarterback, but you can build a very strong team in other areas in this draft. |
While true, you're always going to see trades happen in these middle rounds. There's an average of 5-6 of them every year and that doesn't include 1st round trades that involved middle picks, I'm talking just the kind of trades that I'm suggesting. |
I was trying to say anything we can do to get up into the top 100 without giving up a top 100 pick is good. |
LOL, by bad.
I really like this idea. We've got 3 6th round picks, let's try to use them to get up a round or so, either 2nd or 3rd. _________________

Ulimate team player, moved from RB to FB.
Soft hands, good speed, like 4.6 or 4.7, can block.
Runs hard
As a 3rd down back, would be a great addition.
Watch the bowl tape this year vs NI, 2 big runs (left people in his wake), plenty of catches. |

You think he is only a 4.6 guy. I see mid 4.4's guy when he goes. Which is where I got the possible transition to RB from. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I think his game speed is faster than track speed.
I could be wrong, in pads he is definately fast enough
He has plenty of talent however, was a well recruited back from HS. |

He could be a hybrid HB/FB, would excel there.
Kind of like A Hernandez, similar is size, just never played on the line before, then again I never see AH lined up next to a tackle, he is always 3 - 4 steps either side. |

I'm imagining a 3 back set with Ryan Williams as the primary runner and Sherman and Pryor as the FBs with Pryor getting his fair share of carries as well. That could work... |

I like it, but would love to see him split FB with HB as I said before
He has such soft hands and runs good routes.
Swing passes and short curls, would be lovely and fit his skills. |

Wasn't sure where to post this, so i dumped it in here.
Jesse Williams NT Bama, is back home in Brissie for a few weeks and the Aussie media is going bonkers.
He visited the Brisbane Broncos (rugby league team) yesterday and stood beside the players and dwarfed all of them, getting his own jersey XXXXL etc
He is being touted as an NFL 1st round pick and how he is going to smash the 225 lb bench press and how he can bench 600 lb or whatever.
Will be the first aussie non kicker to make NFL I believe and highest ever drafted Aussie.

Not bad, just doesn't answer the quarterback question. _________________
