Until official hires are made and the staff is complete, a lot of what we'll do on the offensive line and especially along the defense is speculatory which means any draft talk will be speculatory. That said, one main area that yesterday's moves may move us to address more immediately is ILB. Paris Lenon, an UFA, was backed 110% by Ray Horton despite his declining play. That may have just gone out the window. |

One positive I can think of that may happen is that a trade back in the first round is much more likely. New head coaches like to get a lot of picks so they can mold their team. |

If I'm Arians and assuming I got the job because the 1st priority was to improve the offense and either Chance Warmack or Tyler Wilson falls to me at #8, I would have a very hard time trading back. _________________

1 - Still does not make it any more likely a team wants trade up to #7
2 - New Head Coaches also like to get a new QB to mold their team. _________________

Arians made it clear yesterday, before he even got the job offer, that the QB spot was the end all be all of franchise success. If there's a guy at we like that we're not sure will get to 38, push will come to shove... |

I believe we made significant strides drafting BPA the last few years. My biggest concern with any change in our front office and head coach is that we start reaching on our draft picks again.
Do you guys think BA being hired significantly raises the chances that we reach on a first round QB?, or does it not change the odds very much? |
Considering that Keim has been reported as being the main force behind the BPA strategy we've been using, there's no reason to expect anything to change there. |

For what it's worth, from Kent Somers:
"#azcardinals Coach Bruce Arians loves him some RB Ryan Williams. Both went to Va. Tech, Arians lit up when talking about Williams' ability." |

It's just a point to be made and it is interesting, as Arians has been a guy that likes to lean on 1 back. 2010 and 2011, Rashad Mendenhall out run the next Steelers back in rushing attempts 2-to-1. He's not a 2 headed monster guy. |

As good as I think Ryan Williams will be he can't handle 250-something carries. Nobody on this roster can. Since there's so many needs at QB/OL/ILB/SS we might as well keep Beanie and let him walk after next season. _________________

Arians backs routinetly carry the ball in the 220-240 range. If Arians is that excited about Williams he could get the chance. If he can't handle it, we better get someone who can. |

so what is wrong with EJ Manuel? From the few minutes i watch of him, he seems like you could make all the throws and can stay in the pocket. |
