On Jake - I would trust Russ Lande on that.
Also; Top Four Tackles minus A&M - Fisher, Lewan, Pugh, Johnson.
In that order. Johnson is going to be a fringe first round guy. I think the other three are all first round guys. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Jake already coming back Luke undecided. |
If LJ comes back this might be the worst draft ever (at least worst top 5 ever). |
This draft is actually very deep at a lot of positions, just no big name RB or QB alters perception.
There is amazing depth at the WR position in this draft and even if both A&M tackles go back to school there are three first round tackles with a borderline fourth. |
Drawing a blank on the other two after Lewan/Fisher... Hope you don't mean Fluker.

Pugh is an angry angry man.
Love to have him on the line.
His coaches had to tell him to calm down.
That can only be a good thing. |

| Pugh weighs 292 so im concerned about that, he needs to gain at least 10 pounds |

He can anchor vs the Bull Rush and can Drive Block in the run game. I am not worried one bit about what he weighs, he gets the job done. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

| I would definitely consider trading up for Joeckel if Matthews doesnt declare. I have both Joeckel and Matthews ahead of Lewan |

People put way to much in to LT. If Joeckel there at 7 then take him. If he not then take a different player a 7. A good QB can make average tackles look good. Great LT cant make an average QB any better. _________________

I'm sure he's speaking theoretically that if a QB from this draft class performs as well as they have in college, that would be the "good QB".
Speaking of QB's.. now that Reid is in at KC, and Brandon Albert is still pending FA.. I'm seriously thinking they make take Joeckel 1st overall and stick with Cassel for at least another season or look at bringing in an Alex Smith for a year or two.
Reid pretty well known for building top picks into an OL/DL. |

That I don't know.
But don't trade up for Joeckel. If he there at 7 take him but don't waist picks on trading up for him. _________________

I don't see any reason Reid passes on Geno. His first first round pick as a Head Coach, Donovan McNabb.
Reid knows he needs to build around a QB, And Geno Smith is likely that guy. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

| The draft thread is getting long again - you guys think it would be a good idea to start a new one as soon as all the college bowl games are over? |

I think this one could be alright for general draft talk, but we could start a few "High Traffic" threads.
Just spitballing here, everyone get their opinion in. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
