Kiko Alonso & Chase Thomas have identical frames but which was is a better fit in the mid-rounds? Both strike me as high football IQ LB's... _________________

Depends what you're looking for. Thomas is an OLB in a 3-4. Alonso is an ILB only in a 3-4. They'd both make good value picks in the 4th round. Thomas might last that long because he won't time well at all. Alonso has red flags in terms of character. |

Round 5: Terron Armstread, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Round 6: JJ Wilcox, SS, Georgia Southern
Round 7: Vince Williams, ILB, Florida State
Notes:
If the Cardinals believe that Glennon is the QB of the future, they might have to take him at #7 because he might not be there longer. Glennon is the type of QB that fits BA's system-strong arm, vertical passer. Flacco-esque
BA has a history of using many 2 TE sets and Kelce along with Housler would make a great duo (Kelce is also a very good blocker). |
I legitimately love rounds two through six. Can live with Glennon. We get a lot of great talent in that draft. |
Thank you. I think Glennon could be the franchise QB _________________

I agree that Glennon can be the franchise QB but he's not worth a 1st rounder IMHO _________________

Has anyone watch some film on TE Kyle Jusczyk from Harvard? What I've watched of the guy I love. Hes a truck, can block anyone it seems. Has a high motor and can catch the ball. I would LOVE to pick up this guy in the 5th _________________

We have Sherman. Having Jusczyk is a waste of a roster space, and BA prefers to use 2 TE sets _________________

I personally see him more as a TE I know he could be a hybrid like a Hernandez. But I do see him as more of a TE in the NFL, could get a bit bigger though _________________

Love the Williams pick in round 7
Also like picks 2 - 6
Just cannot warm to glennon, especially at 7, maybe a few spots lower and for a few extra picks |

If Glennon is a franchise QB then he is worth the #1 overall pick.
If Glennon is a true franchise QB and our staff beleive he is, then they need to do everything to get him. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I agree with the line of thinking khodder laid out.
I see #7 and if we grab a QB as someone we'd expect can start right away. I don't think Glennon fits that mold just yet and needs some development. _________________

Not buying us being high on Glennon. He's a stiff unlike BA's preference in QB's... Maybe a team trades into the late-1st to grab him but we need to hit big time on #7 or we're screwed. Besides there will be quarterbacks available at #38, Wilson, Dysert, Barkley and maybe even Glennon. _________________

Yeah, Wilson and Glennon are not going to be there at 38, Barkley has no more mobility than Glennon does and is severely limited physically, Dysert is an option, he seems to have faded off the map a little bit lately though.
Bottom Line - If you think you have a potential Franchise QB available to you, you go and get him. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I agree with Khodder, if you believe he is the franchise QB, you do whatever it takes to get him even if it may be a reach. _________________

I think he CAN be the franchize QB. He won't be first year though. He'll have to be developed no doubt more than QBs in years past have. He's not going to make an immediate impact which is why I would prefer him in the 2nd round _________________
