which is just how he described it - lack of strength and a compromised range of motion.
are the straight line streaks of the bruising from the muscle tears you presume happened? i've never seen a bruise with that shape, unless a guy was screeded along the highway or something. |
he had that compression sleeve on so that could have affected this look. Without it I'd think it was a lot more of a purple green blob _________________

Typically, bruising is cause by the rupture of blood vessels, and the blood often fills the space along the muscles. Hence, the striations. _________________ "No one can disguise mediocrity better than Bill Belichick." |

Hard to call him injury prone because of a freak hit. People were calling Stafford injury prone too for a couple of freak injuries. He's started every game the last two years. _________________

Peterson was labeled as injury prone too, based on a freak injury in college. |

| I'm bothered when people say Favre would have played. Of course Favre would have played, but he had arm strength to spare. I don't want Ponder out there if he can only throw at 75% velocity, it's just asking for interceptions. |

It's the fourth straight year where Ponder hasn't finished the season on the field. _________________

Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier left no room for interpretation when asked about Christian Ponder's status for 2013.
Frazier: "He's our starter. We're pleased with the progress he's made. We saw glimpses of what he can bring to our football team and the way he led us down the stretch, you feel like you have a chance to win every game when your quarterback plays the way he played."

Couldn't have said it better myself. He seemed to really make strides especially as a Leader. His teammates really seem to believe in him. There's no reason with improved weapons next year that he shouldn't make great strides. It'll be his 3rd year which is when you really need to know if he's the guy or not. A big year for Young Christian coming up. _________________

He's missed 1 game in the past 27 games for the Vikings.
He didn't even miss significant time last year.
I know that won't change your mind. You think he's the WOAT. _________________

Ponder should get one more year in 2013.
If he progress, Vikings know they have their guy for awhile and should be playoff contendors.
If he regresses, with the brutal schedule I just looked at...I can see us poised for Mr. Manziel in 2014. |

What nothing to do with Manziel. Tim Tebow v2
Bridgewater is a great prospect. _________________

Well Manziel would have to be Tebow v3.
Colin Klein is pretty much the same as Tebow. _________________

Only a lot smaller. Kid will get wrecked in the NFL if he plays QB. Hope he spends his offseasons learning how to play Slot Receiver or Safety.
Actually, he's going to become a college legend, and likely a 2-time Heisman, so some team will probably draft him as a QB. If he isn't open to switching positions, his career will follow the Tebow arc. |
