Torrey Smith didn't do much. 1 Rec, 21 yds
I expect him to light up Josh Wilson all game.
Flacco took advantage of the Boldin on Hall match up all game.

Agree-- but D Hall was on ctutches early in the week--Madieu Williams again--slow to get over on the first TD.. second one looked like instant replay.
Man, tell me --who played nickel? I really never noticed Crawford, if he was in there.. I Did see D J Johnson for a coupla plays.. Didn't see much of Gomes.. Game got me frustrated --maybe I tuned out  |

| Madieu Williams has me so frustrated. I know it's to late in the season for a real solution so all I can hope for is that his mistakes don't hurt too bad. He's never in the right position for a FS. He's always two or three steps too late. |

Hall had a few bad plays - notably not tackling Boldin and letting him run down the sideline. And a couple of dumb hits, one of which was not called for a personal foul and should have been. Still, we're talking about a player who was on crutches for the week and has been hobbled for the last couple of games.
Clearly his speed suffers, and the Ravens knew that. Unfortunately, Madieu Williams didn't.

I think it's pretty clear Madieu Williams and Hall will be gone next year. The rest IMO will be back to compete for their jobs.

Flacco has been going to Boldin all year, he leads them in yards and receptions, maybe even TD's now-- but I didn't check that stat

Hope Crawford can step up and atleast be the nickel corner we need against slot wr's with some good S help too after we pick up some FA's (Byrd  ) and draft some more secondary help...

i guess you didn't directly, but indirectly you point to Boldin. Kinda like saying - yeah but Smith isn't that good, so Wilson didn't play great.

Nah I see what you mean. What I was commenting on is before the game the announcers were talking about Boldin being the main threat- which he is-- he physically abuses corners with his size and physical play-- then Smith gets a few big plays because teams HAVE to concentrate on Boldin. But yeah IMO Boldin is the one you have to try and stop
And it was Boldin who abused our D in the first half as expected. Thank Goodness Wilson kept HIS man covered

Well on the TD to Boldin in the corner, Williams was playing a 1 high safety.
Why not audible out of that play and roll a 2 high safety. That was a terrible call. But it was the first half.
We played much better defense in the 2nd half of the game.
I would never leave Williams in a 1 high S call with 3 Wide offensive set.
