Right now, the consensus is Kansas City going Tyler Wilson and we are taking Eugene Smith. _________________

Consensus from who? I've yet to see one mock of KC going Wilson, and yet to see one mock where we select a QB a 2, except outdated ones that had us taking Barkley. _________________

From the people here? Of course not, most mocks here are swayed by people not wanting poor feedback. _________________

I think The_LBC said it best.

Heads of front office change plenty, that doesn't mean the teams entire scouting department goes by the wayside or the team stops scouting.
It's not like persons hired from another franchise's staff are going to magically get access to all the scouting materials and reports that his previous organization had been compiling on draft prospects.
Simple matter is this... the Chiefs very obviously need a new QB. The two highest regarded prospects right now in terms of ceiling and major conference pedigree are Geno Smith and Tyler Wilson. So why exactly wouldn't the Chiefs be scouting those two heavily given that they're likely to have the top pick? |

The Chiefs have to beat the Broncos for you all to have a higher pick than them right?
So Geno Smith seems out of the question unless Peyton and the Broncos really blow it |

Right now, it sounds like Chiefs prefer Tyler Wilson. _________________

Complete wishful thinking
People are slighting Geno Smith right now but those same draft experts didn't even have RGIII as high as he ended up this time last year
Heck the same experts had Gabbert over Newton |

So numerous sources around the Chiefs organization is wishful thinking?
I'm sorry, but I don't listen to a scrub like Walterfootball or a fraud like Shawn Zobel to figure out how things are looking. _________________
