Just some random Monday morning QB notes...
#1 Brandon Weeden is nearly par with Andrew Luck in stats
Andrew Luck 295-537 54.9 3,792 7.06 18-18 32 74.5
Brandon Weeden 264-463 57.0 3,037 6.56 13-15 24 72.8
#2 Frostee Rucker flashed PB level play all day Sunday & his helmet looks pretty bad a$$.
#3 Gregg Little has improved consistently all year since he was essentially benched from all the drops.
#4 Josh Gordon is playing like Andre Johnson his rookie season. Josh Gordon would be drafted in the top 10 this year based on his rookie year production IMO. Had he graduated or came out of BCS title team he would be potentially as high as top 5....
#5 Jabaal Sheard looks like he has put on 10-15 pounds & has been very strong against the run. All tho his sack production is down considerably he will gain back the 1/2 step he has lost by adding the additional weight. 2013 JS will have 10+ sacks.
#5 Trent Richardson is still hampered with nagging injuries & only playing at "75%". He will be 100% in 2013. TR will produce 100+ TD in his first 8 seasons.
#6 Sheldon Brown is playing extremely well & should be awarded with a nice little 2 year extension.
#7 Montario Hardesty is playing strong this season. I can see why Heckert pulled the trigger in 2nd 2010. If we keep him past the rookie contract & he stays healthy we could see him with Michael Turner stats when he played behind LT in San Diego.
#8 Jimmy Haslam will breack the bank next season by signing 2 big name free agents. All 3 of the big coaching positions HC, DC, & OC will have SB rings next season. John Gruden HC, Monte Kiffin DC, & Josh McDaniels OC. JM will be awarded the highest salary ever for an OC.
#9 Browns are 5-3 last 8 against quality teams. We have also put up 20+ points 3 consecutive games.
#10 Browns will make the playoffs in 2013. We currently have 14 players on the roster that will make the PB sometime in the next 3 seasons wearing the BnO.

I don't know about #8 and #10 is a bold statement...
It's nice to read positive stuff on Monday morning _________________

Fairly certain #8 is not going to happen.
Also, its worth mentioning the Browns are 4-3 at home this year with a shot at 5-3... nice to have something respectable to watch when we go to the stadium. |
