Sounds like Richard Seymour, Tommy Kelly, and Desmond Bryant will all be gone looking like the Raiders won't have a choice now, but to take Star Lotulelei, Johnathan Hankins or Sheldon Richardson.
Whenever a team goes into the draft with a need usually = fail
Also the Raiders will be right at the CAP, but after cutting Tommy Kelly ($6.5), Darrius Heyward-Bey ($7.72 million), Richard Seymour (not sure his number), Shane Lechler via free agent ($3.8 million), and restructure Palmer's ($13 million).
I don't expect any Free Agency splash this year Reggie will be bargain shopping again. _________________

Where are you seeing that we're not going to bring back Desmond Bryant? _________________

That's the worst reasoning I've ever heard. So we can just make stuff up now? That's happening? _________________

You said it "sounds like Bryant will be gone". Then your reasoning is he won't want to be a backup on a 4-12 team. So there is no "sound" just you guessing and giving an opinion. An opinion that has no validation.
So there is ZERO truth or validity to your statement. _________________

He even went out of his way to make up a quote.
Apparently he also has inside information in the Raiders front office and knows what type of deal we're going to offer Bryant. _________________

Exactly. Just making it up. No validity and zero truth. _________________

Not only that, but if Seymour and Kelly are both gone, Bryant would likely get more playing time here than as a backup elsewhere. Even if we were to draft a good DT, there is still one spot open. Even if we were to sign another DT or move Houston inside, Bryant will get a lot of action somewhere along the line. |
