You know... we clinch the division next week if we win, Dallas loses today AND next week (they'd have the tiebreaker if they win week 17), AND the Giants lose next week. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

I've got no interest in gloating Jeezy. I want this to turn back into a fan base that expects to win and who knows maybe we are on our way? |
Well said lavar. I don't recall skins fans gloating in the 80s like I've seen from franchises like the Eagles recently. I'd like to keep it that way. We know exactly how it feels to lose a huge game that we thought would be in the bag. We also remember how it feels to think the team has turned a corner only to get cranked by a team we believed was suspect.
Lets keep the Quiet Pride thing Thai talked about a few years ago going. Act like we've been here before even though a good portion of our fan base wasn't old enough to remember the last time.
Great Game! Proud of the D for the most part. They really only allowed the one huge play after we were up by two scores.
Im proud of Alf for taking the yards he could take.
Im also proud of Peter Waiter for the heads up recovery. His second of the year.
Really proud of Kirk for having a short term memory after starting off really slow.
And proud of Kyle for calling a solid game. _________________

Already did that last week
Fellas...
That air you're breathing is something I regularly breathed in the 80's and early 90's. Its the air of a Redskins team in first place in mid december |
As the other (kind of) resident old guy, I'm very happy to share this with the young guys. Things taste better, they smell better and they look better from up here!

Thanks SFLA.
Yes, the best feeling in the world is the one in which you are not boastful or taunting about your team and are simply smiling and enjoying how well your team is playing. If your team is good enough, its play speaks for itself. At that point, other fans will come to you and tell you how good your team is. No need to brag. _________________

I won't eat crow about Cousins because our secondary talent still sucks and if we had a better nickel cb we may have won a few more games earlier this season.
Am I glad cousins is doing well? Yeah. So we can trade him for a late 1st or 2nd rounder and draft the DB or Rt that we should have drafted in the 2012 draft with that selection. _________________

I couldn't agree more. There's absolutely no way Sexy Rexy wins us that game. My dad said it well: We didn't need Cousins to WIN the game, but we did need him to NOT LOSE the game. He did just that. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

Theres no way of knowing that drafting the guys you constantly suggest we should have would be better than the ones we drafted. _________________
