Why are you cutting Blanton after one season in the league? _________________

To move him to the practice squad.
Honestly, though, I just didn't realize he was only a rookie, and I didn't think we needed 5 safeties on the active roster.
We could very easily keep Blanton and not resign Sanford, and that might actually be the better option despite Sanford's improved play this season. |

We've kept 5 safeties on the roster the last couple of years. My bet is it continues. My guess is Sendejo would get the axe before Blanton. _________________

Probably. In which case, Blanton stays and Childs moves off of the active roster, since his injury makes him questionable to be active to start the year anyway. |

I would be surprised if Childs isn't on the PUP list at the beginning of the year, so yes. _________________

Its a nice outcome but it boarders on slightly less realistic.
When have MIN been that successful in Free Agency?
Three really nice starters?
Throw in a 3rd + 4th rounder trade for a 2nd round. _________________

This is without question my favorite draft. I'd rather get Te'o than Ogletree if we can though. Is Da'Rick going to be available late in the 2nd?
Our team would be significantly upgraded with this draft. |

Great mock, a lot of players I really like here for our team. Not sold on Ogletree after the Bama game, and don't like Marcus Davis after seeing the video of him NEVER blocking, but I like every other pick. If we could get Wallace in the off-season I would be a happy camper! _________________

I prefer Ogletree in the 4/3, but it probably won't matter since Te'o will be going somewhere in the top 15, and with today's win the Vikings will almost definitely be picking somewhere 15-25.

I think he'll go anywhere from late 1st to 4th depending entirely on how he does with team interviews. He's got top 10 pick talent, but he's a major attitude and character risk right now.

Maybe this year.

Wallace might be too optimistic, but I don't think that Knighton or Boothe are.

I was going off of a trade value chart I found assuming that we'd be picking 15th in each round. Probably not the case anymore with today's win, but if we use a 3rd + 4th to move up to the top of the 3rd, we could still probably get Rogers.
Thanks for the feedback, everyone. |

The video I linked with Ogletree is actually shows all of his plays from the Bama game. Watching it definitely shows a lot of things to be worried about, he is very raw at the LB position still, but it also shows a LOT of positives. He has supreme physical tools for the position, a huge frame that will allow him to add weight, and despite Georgia's struggles with the run in that game, Ogletree still had some big plays against the run in that game.

That video worries me a bit, too, but to me it looks more like he just hasn't learned how to block moreso than him being lazy or entitled. It's a correctable problem if that's the case. Either way, I don't think a 5th rounder is too much to give up for a guy with his kind of physical tools. |

Yep Vick daddy I'm a new guy.
I also have a mock that I'm going to post. It's very defensive. Which I think is a bigger need than the offense |
