It may very well have been his finest moment, but he hasn't had very many fine moments to pick from in the first place. _________________

Say what you want about Redball and this team. but you cannot deny they are resilient. |
Resilient, sure. But, that stat right there demonstrates everything that's wrong with this team. It's just not a recipe for winning in the NFL. Just once, I'd like to see this team impose it's will on another team and play for 4 quarters. I just want to know if it's in them. Cause all I see is a team and coach that is floundering until the coach acknowledges that it's time to let Romo take over. |
It's a foundation, though. And this speaks to once again expectations. The Cowboys - if we are being honest - were fools gold. Looked shiny and nice until you look under the hood and are forced to cringe. |
I don't think the Cowboys were fools gold, we had everything in place to make some noise in the playoffs and expectations were such. We had a top 10 defense and the offense couldn't hold their end of the bargain to win games. This team just under performed and that falls on the head coach. _________________

That's debatable in my opinion - he got blown out on both the rushing TD and that huge reverse gain that put them inside our 10. He's been great - don't get me wrong - and I've been saying how under rated he's been for years now (this isn't a drastic improvement in his previous years play actually) but I don't know about DMVP. Lee was heads and shoulders ahead prior to injury but maybe that's let Spencer catch up, and Ware has been more impactful in all facets of the game so I'd have him ahead of Spencer.
Don't get me wrong - Spencer's been Top 3 on our D and probably has passed Lee by now, and I can hear the argument for DMVP, but I think it's still Ware. _________________

Can you for once in your life just enjoy the fact that we are winning, that we have over half the defense missing and are still persevering. Yes Garrett has made some mistakes, but he has also made some of the best personnel decisions I have seen in a long time. He has built this team the correct way and for all the issues Dallas had as soon as this O-Line is rebuilt we will be great again.
I know it has been tough to be a Cowboys fan the last 17 years, but we finally have a coach that knows how to build a winning and emotionally charged team. _________________ Future Starting Safety for the Cowboys

I think I know what it is....if we start winning again and Jason proves to be a competent coach, it will render the DCRA useless. _________________

This all speaks to expectations. Prior to the season I predicted (and as a result expected) a 10-6 season - which dropped to 8-8 the moment Lee was lost. During all this time I chimed in that I didn't fear anyone. That this team could contend with anyone. Realistically - my expectations were met. _________________

Reminds me of my ex wife , no matter what I did, it's never enough. That's just the way it is. That a why I would just let her say her piece , nod in agreement and say "yes honey, your right as always " and have another beer |

I wish I had started drinking beer while I was still married. It would've made those moments a LOT more bearable. _________________

You know, if anyone questions why we are called 'America's Team' I feel last game was a good indicator. All reports I have read was the stadium was 50% Cowboys. Road games always have a great show of support from Cowboy fans. I know last year in Tampa - at least 40% of the stadium was Cowboy fans.
Our Home-Advantage is frustrating. But our road atmosphere is fantastic. _________________

Free/Parnell split was interesting. Additionally, I saw Dockery in there at one point. OLINE should be in ROMO's contract when he extends.
Olgetree needs to be benched. I've seen enough of Harris who makes the most out of his opportunities.
Romo is excellent in a no huddle offense. |

Yet, it will be 75% steelers fans in our house... just wait and see. _________________
