Not trying to count chickens but if Browns can beat Washington next week they might get broncos with manning resting and then Steelers last game of year with possible playoffs on line.
Its a long shot, but possible.
Long shot... but we're in the hunt. _________________

| This is where those loses to Philly and Dallas really come back to bite us. Probably should have beaten Indy too. |

If somehow we can win 1 of the next 3 I think Shurmer makes a case to keep his job. If he wins 2 or 3 of the next 3 games, I don't think there is away way you blow up this team and if Haslem does he's a moron......
For the first time in 10 years it looks like the Browns appear to have established an identity. We play hard nose football and we are a team built on running the ball, stoping the run and work to prevent the big play.
If you look at our front OL and DL we are built for cold weather AFC North football. I love what I'm seeing and as long as we can win one of the next 3 games, I will be very happy with the season considering we started 0-5.
I think the Redskins are the most beatable of the next 3. _________________

We need Pittsburgh to beat Cinci next week. We *might* have a showdown in Heinz field for a playoff spot. _________________

I hate to root for a guy to be hurt, but I'm really rooting for RGIII to be out next week.
It would certainly make winning the game much easier. _________________

If we had a legit shot at the playoffs, I would agree. But at this point, I'd like to play him to continue to assess our defense. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

I see your point, but watching the guy I wanted the Browns to draft in the worst way torch our D would be disheartening to say the least.
I'd rather face Cousins.
Besides, every win makes it that much harder to can Heckert/Shurmer. _________________

I would prefer not to have to deal with all that smack talk at work.
Lets see Kirk Cousins, and maybe we can knock him around enough to see a little Sexy Rexy _________________

Yeah, if the Redskins were a divisional foe I'd agree with Reggie, but he's not. Let some other defense figure out how to defend him and we'll see you again in 3 years. |

I don't agree. Heckert has already proved his value, if he gets fired it won't be performance based. If Haslem cares about winning more than anything Heckert won't be going anywhere. If he wants to win with 'his' guys he has an ego problem ala Jerry Jones |

The team has already exceeded my expectations for the season...
If the browns win the next 3 they are in the playoffs I bet.
Redskins
Broncos
Steelers
None are easy game but ......
I see a strong possibility that not only heckert stays but I am starting to see the daylight for shurmur as well. Brown win 2/3 of these and think we have a winner. _________________
