The league needs to put a policy in place where if you go out and drink / party you HAVE to pay for a service to drive you home. I really dont understand why these guys even drive themselves anywhere? I would have a perma-driver. _________________

Unreal. I have a neighbour who has four or five drunk driving arrests and I'm sure he still does it. He is going to die from alcohol soon, the only unsure thing is if he takes someone with him or not. |

In an effort to make this about football...
This is a huge blow to the Cowboys who are down to their 3rd string NT with Ratliff still hurt. I can't remember a team missing so many pieces in the middle of their defense. I had only seen Brent for a couple of games but he seemed like he was playing pretty well although not at Ratliff's level. Don't know anything about the PS guy but this is a big blow to the Cowboys playoff chances who are still in the hunt at 6-6 for the NFC East crown. That defense is falling apart. |

Wow that's disgusting. Drop the hammer on this idiot. RIP Jerry Brown.

The NFLPA would probably not allow that. _________________

Making stupid decisions like this is just the culture of being a professional athlete or any other kind of celebrity. Professional athletes aren't 'men', they are big kids with money. They never had to work a real day in their life, and whose job is based on games we played when we were young. They had everything handed to them through their school years until the pros. This type of reckless behavior will always exist because being a professional athlete/celebrity does not require you to mature as a person. _________________

Very sad story, feel bad for both men. Brent has to live with this for the rest of his life. _________________

| This sucks, especially because a drunk driving death is about the most preventable tragedy on the planet. |

Yes. The Chiefs played last week, and that was a much more tragic event. Not to take this lightly, but there's no reason to think the game would be cancelled. _________________

| Truly an idiot, putting his life and his teammates at risk. Incidents like this are truly tragic and could have completely been prevented. Its been a rough week for the NFL with Belcher, now this? |
