Browsing through my some old forum posts, I stumbled across a mock draft I made in 2010. An interesting idea popped into existence: why not have a thread where you can post your old mock drafts, stacked up to the actual draft and off-season of that year! The posters (you & me) can rate those old mocks, and see how everyone did! Then pick the best 'mocker' of the Vikings forum, collect his credentials, and send in application to the Vikings front office, demanding his hire!

So everyone, please post ye olde mocks, and mock or praise those of your fellow fans!

Criteria:
Which mock is the most realistic?
What is the best fantasy mock?

You decide!

I'll start us off:

2011 MOCK your socks off
Link: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=419654

I took the liberty of highlighting the moves that present the biggest change, and cuttin the minor moves (like re-signing Ryan Cook).

Vikings / Kellerman

Coaching Staff:

HC: Leslie Frazier / Jim Harbaugh (HC 49ers)
OC: Bill Musgrave / Mike Mularkey (HC Jags)
DC: Alan Williams / Chuck Cecil (DB Rams)

Vikings FA:

Jackson (released) / Jackson (released)
D'Imperio (re-signed) / D'Imperio (re-signed)
Berrian (released) / Berrian (5th rounder)
Longwell (resigned) / Longwell (resigned)
Fred Evans (resigned) / Fred Evans (resigned)

Robison (3y/$14m) / Robison (2y/$3m)
Rice (4th round comp, 5y/$41m) / Rice (re-signed, 4y/$30m)
Edwards (4th round comp) / Edwards (franchise, 2nd rounder trade)
Greenway (5y/$41m) / Greenway (6y/$40m)

Free Agency:

(QB) Sage Rosenfels (back-up, cut 2012)
(WR) Devin Aromashodu (starter WR)
(OG/OT) Charlie Johnson (starter LT, OG)
(DT) Remi Ayodele (cut 2012)

vs

(OG) Carl Nicks (RFA)(Tampa Bay )
(S) Tanard Jackson (Redskins, suspended 2012)
(QB) Matt Hasselbeck (Titans starter/back-up)
(DE) Mathias Kiwanuka (Giants back-up)

Draft:

1. Christian Ponder (starter)
2. Kyle Rudolph (starter)
4. Christian Ballard (back-up)
5. Brandon Burton (back-up)
6. DeMarcus Love (back-up, IR)
6. Mistral Raymond (starter)
6. Brandon Fusco (starter)
6. Ross Homan (unemployed)
7. D'Aundre Reed (back-up)
7. Stephen Burton (back-up)

vs.

1. Andrew Luck (QB, starter, trade #6 overall, Bucs 2nd (Edwards), 2012 1st, Brian Robison)
2. Stefen Wisniewski (OC/OG, Oakland, starter)
4. Lee Ziemba (OT, back-up, IR)
5. Korey Lindsey (CB, unemployed)
5. K.J. Wright (OLB/MLB, Seahawks, starter)
5. Davonte Shannon (SS/FS, unemployed)
6. Schuylar Oordt (TE, unemployed)
7. Allen Bradford (HB/LB, Seahawks, PS)

Notes:
-Luck came out a year later in reality. RGIII, considered 1a, fetched almost identical compensation as this trade, even trading up from #6 overall. The only difference is the 2014 1st rounder, which is replaced by Brian Robison in this trade.
-Real draft got waaay more depth. Long term starters boil down to Luck, Wisniewski, K.J. Wright vs. Rudolph, Fusco, Raymond, Ponder.
-Are we desperate enough to want Rice back in Minnesota?
-Tanard Jackson is a bust
-Kiwanuka/Griffin vs. Robison?
