You can cite lack of talent, but I think that it is obvious that the entire coaching staff is in over their head. I like Allen, and for a while I was one of those who were in favor of keeping him next year. But this team hasn't even shown a glimmer of being competitive for over a month.
Yes, we have had too much turnover in the coaching department. But is continuity worth it if you feel you have the wrong guys in place? Knapp and Tarver certainly deserve their share but they were chosen by Allen. Someone has to be held accountable for this disaster of a year.

This coaching staff is terrible. The same people will come in here talking about talent, but we have the worst staff in the league, and our team is a reflection of it.

| i wouldnt mind giving tarver and allen 1 more try, look at the secondary tarver has had to work with.. the defense is a mess + injuries .. not completely tarvers fault... knapp must go hes the offensive version of chuck bresnahan IMO |

I personally would not mind seeing Al Saunders being named OC of this team. He knows all the player from being here for a little whe now. He knows the strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and disadvantages of our offense. Mostly, he was here when our O was at its best.

Spot on.
I dont mind Allen and Tarver getting more time but Knapp should be fired 4 seconds after the seeason finale. I can respect Allen signing his guy and wanting to go with a WCO/ZBS but it hasnt worked. It was never going to work as most of us believed heading into the season but whatever. Well, its failed miserably and if hes serious about being a HC, then this will be his first hard decision to make in the offseason.
This regression that we have experienced on offense is completely disgusting and no one is to blame except the clown calling the plays. |

It might be the easiest decision he makes this off-season. The only hard part will be him admitting that he made a terrible decision that's responsible for making the offense a huge pile of crap.

Norv hopefully.
Tarver showed today that he can scheme at DC. His players are the problem in execution and technique.

I feel like Tarver is pretty good. It's just the players don't execute.

Knapp's offence looks like its trapped in the 90's with an O-Line that bad you need allot of fast plays instaed he tries drop backs just a complete fail.
Also when the run game gets going he completely goes away from it.

I honestly don't know if we will fire Knapp. I mean if we don't I'm writing off next season and Allen. I think Knapp can talk football, however he can't playcall at all. |

| If Raiders don't fire Greg Knapp it will cost Dennis Allen is Head Coaching job. Its that simple, Allen has to be aware of this. |
