Ok, so here we go....
Coaching Changes
Head coach: Rick Dennison
Offensive Coordinator: Karl Dorrell
Defensive Coordinator: D!ck Jauron (assuming the CLE staff gets fired)
Restructure
Nnamdi Asomugha
Jason Peters
Resignings
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
Jon Dorenbos
Akeem Jordan
Cole Anderson
King Dunlap
Cuts/Not Resigned
Mike Vick
Demetress Bell
Daryl Tapp
Cullen Jenkins
Derek Landri
Deon Lewis
Jason Avant
Jake Scott
David Sims
Brent Celek (let's stop pretending it's 2009)
Free Agents
Laron Landry, S (Jauron likes hard hitting safeties and we lack physicality)
Antoine Caldwell, G (depth, knows the system)
Matt Leinart, QB (familiar with the system, good backup)
Scott Fujita, LB (depth, knows Jauron's system)
Note: if Nick Foles looks awful down the stretch look for us to pick up Alex Smith...
Draft Trades
#3 to STL for #14, 2nd, 4th
#36 (2nd) and 4th to BAL for #28
Draft
#14- Johnathan Hankins-DT, Ohio State--He is not a 3-4 Nose, I've watched him play a lot and he's the only 330 lb DT who plays sideline to sideline. He's a stud with all the tools to dominate.
#28- Tyler Eifert-TE, Notre Dame--Legit redone target, gives us a real threat in the middle of the field we haven't had in a long time.
2nd (STL)- Eric Fisher-OT, Central Michigan--perfect for ZBS, lean athletic, has been compared to Eric Winston.
3rd- Da'Rick Rogers-WR, Tennessee Tech-- lets take a bit of a risk for once an draft a highly talented guy with a mid pick, beats taking a lesser talented good character also-ran.
4th (STL)- Bacarri Rambo-S, Georgia-hard hitter will bring more physicality to our defense
5th- William Gohlson-DE, Michigan State-Huge athletic freak, add depth and with good coaching and if he has the "want to" he can eventually replace Cole
6th- Reed Fragel-OT, Ohio State-first year playing tackle and has done a good job, getting better every week. Former TE can be brought in as a blocking TE as well, he's a versatile athletic raw lineman
7th- B.W. Webb-CB, William & Mary- athletic small school guy who can provide depth
Depth Chart
QB-Foles, Leinart, Edwards
HB-McCoy, Brown, Polk
FB-Havilli
WR-Jackson, Cooper, Johnson
WR-Maclin, Rogers, McNutt
TE-Eifert, Harbor, Fragel
LT-Peters, Dunlap
LG-Herremans, Caldwell
C-Kelce, Reynolds
RG-Mathis, Watkins
RT-Fisher, Kelly, Fragel
DE-Cole, Curry, Hunt
NT-Hankins, Patterson
DT-Cox, Thorton
DE-Graham, Gholson
SLB-Kendricks, Fujita
MLB-Ryans, Matthews
WLB-Jordan, Chaney
CB-Rogers-Cromartie, Webb
CB-Asomugha, Marsh
NCB-Boykin
FS-Allen, Rambo, Anderson
SS-Landry, Coleman
Go ahead and rip it up, sorry for the formatting, did this on my phone. |

Your free agency is garbage but really really dig the draft.. Hankins and Eifert Fisher Rambo Rogers are all big physical guys at there position in position we need a serious upgrade at with size, power, aggressiveness, and physicality and would are all more talented then the guys they would replace. _________________

I went light in FA because we are moving to a "build through the draft" philosophy. I think free agency is weak this year, and I feel we will have a disappointing FA based on what we are used to. |

I really don't want drc or nnamdi back next year. I would get rid of both. _________________

I don't like FA, but the draft is pretty good _________________

This is what we need to do.. trade down and collect as many quality draft picks between pick #14ish to pick #80ish and use our first pick to draft a big ugly nose tackle as the depth falling down the board will be sick or just in general BPA defensive line/pass rush.. no light under tackles tho.. _________________

I like the draft and the coaching choices really, but Landry hasn't proved he could stay healthy otherwise I'd say yeah and the rest of the FAs aren't that great. Leinhart sucks and wouldn't be a serious upgrade over Trent Edwards anyway. _________________
