we have quite a few different threads going on the draft, but I am curious as to who you guys think we could look to bring in as free agents
team needs(in no order)
offense
1. QB
2. TE
3. O-line...literally all three spots
Defense
1. ILB
2. SS
3. depth at every position _________________

Is Ryan Clady still set to become a FA, or did Denver sign him up long term? because as of rigth now, FF has this list for FA OT's.
1. Jake Long
2. Ryan Clady
3. Brandon Albert
4. Sabastian Volmer
6. Andre Smith
any chance we go after one of these guys? the first three are going to be bank-breakers, but we can dream can't we?
Edit: other names, at other positions I like.
1. Shaun Philips
2. Quintin Jammer
3. Laron Landry _________________

Joe Flacco (likely staying in Baltimore)
Jason Campbell (turnover machine)
Tavaris Jackson (intriguing but not superbowl caliber)
Matt Moore (has shown numerous flashes of potential)
Drew Stanton (ehhhh)
OL
Jake Long (injury and production drop off)
Ryan Clady (intriguing)
Branden Albert (intriguing)
Sebastian Vollmer (intriguing but injury concerns)
ILB
Brian Urlacher (aging middle backer)
Anthony Spencer (stop gap OLB)
Rey Maualuga (younger middle backer, likely stays in CIN)
SS
William Moore (intriguing but injury concerns)
Dashon Goldson (intriguing but probably wants big pay day)
LaRon Landry (intriguing and hard hitting SS)
Jairus Byrd (young upcoming safety, cant see how Buffalo lets him go) |

Urlacher probably isnt going anywhere...I say that mostly because I can't imagine that guy playing anywhere else. I have personally never liked the guy, he has always gotten on my nerves...but I do think he would be a good fit for what he need at ILB. _________________

He's tied to the Bears and the Bears would pay him the most. His age and durability concerns as of late, I don't see how he could get paid elsewhere |

This might help.

Searchable by position and also states whether player is UFA or RFA. _________________

Some good names on that list but the richest position is WR. I think Miami will bring in Bowe or Wallace. Maybe that helps Long out the door. _________________

Urlacher's play has dropped off significantly the past few years and he's never played in a 3-4 either. Even if he was willing to leave Chicago, there's no reason we should want him here. |

Andre Smith of Cinci needs to be added to the OT group. Word is he is absolutely balling right now.

Early disappointment made good. Very good. RT @PriscoCBS: Watched some Bengals tape today. Man, Andre Smith is a beast. _________________

You know he's a right tackle though right? Adding Andre Smith at RT takes away our most promising offensive lineman and Smith can't play LT. He'd be a monster guard but he's gonna want tackle money. |

Cliff Avrill ?
I can see him playing OLB and after we could plug him in and watch the sacks roll in.
Then have the luxury of selecting a QB, OL or whatever come draft time. |

Lot of money for a guy learning a new position at his age. |

Not so sure about that but maybe. He's younger (26) but has only ever put up 1 double digit sack season. I also question ability in coverage coming from a 4-3 DE to a 3-4 OLB conversion. |

I think he can play standing up, rushing the passer is his thing, and have any of our players put up 10+ sacks in a year?
Who cares about coverage, we need to rush the passer.
Also, Spotrac, says that Bennett TE NTG is a FA this year, we should chase him hard, he can block and catch and would look lovely next to Housler. |
