Rex Ryan names Mark Sanchez starting QB

Quote:
HC Rex Ryan has named Mark Sanchez his starting QB for Jets' SUN game at Jacksonville. He has met with the QBs this morning.

Quote:
I'm told fact that Jets play next 2 games on road did play a (minor) role in decision. Hard to start Sanchez in front of home fans this wk

Seahawks waive WR Braylon Edwards

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000106045/article/braylon-edwards-waived-by-seattle-seahawks

Quote:
Braylon Edwards called his former bosses in New York a bunch of "idiots" on Monday for their handling of New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. We wonder what he'll say about his former bosses in Seattle.

The Seahawks waived/injured Edwards on Tuesday in a surprise move. They also placed guard James Carpenter on the reserve/non-football illness list for the remainder of the season.

Ravens Terrell Suggs has torn biceps

Quote:
Terrell Suggs confirms via text he has torn biceps.

http://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/statuses/275794569805824000

Which is a shame, given that he JUST came back. It would be like if Lee came back only to break his jaw or something else to sideline him. Rough to be a Ravens fan.

Cardinals Release TE Todd Heap

One of the better TE's for a while. Curious to see if he hangs it up.

Chucky May Coach Once More!

Quote:
This week, former Raiders and Bucs coach Jon Gruden supposedly is in talks to return to the Raiders, where he once served as the head coach.

Thatís what Hub Arkush of Pro Football Weekly told WSCR in Chicago earlier today.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/04/report-jon-gruden-talking-to-the-raiders-about-a-return/

And as I mentioned in another Thread, the Texans have signed Routt.

Phil Costa headed to IR with ankle injury. Cowboys to sign OT Darrion Weems off Denver's practice squad.

Darrion Weems is a 6-5, 320-pound offensive tackle is spent most of the year on Broncos' practice squad. He's a rookie from Oregon.

New TE in the House!

The #Cowboys have signed tight end Chase Ford to the practice squad.

https://twitter.com/dmn_george/status/276374154289229824

At 6-feet-6 and 258 pounds, runs a 4.7ish.

It is crazy how many entitled players there in the NFL. First Rolando McClain and now Titus Young. Both will probably be seeking employment elsewhere come the off-season. Both talented, and both someone I do not want.

Further reason to support doing one's due diligence with respect to investigating the backgrounds and personalities of college players. An organization does itself no credit by ignoring the red flags and drafting a guy based on talent even though he has emotional/mental baggage. It comes back to bite the team in the backside 99% of the time.

So in your opinion, does Dez fall into the 1% or the 99%?

Gruden possibly going back to the Raiders??? I never thought I'd see the day this would even be discussed as a possibility. I kinda see him in Philly myself.

I feel the same way. I don't know if he would get 100% control, and I think thats something he really wants.

Why do fans keep saying Dez was a problem child. He was never arrested in college, he never got drunk in college, never did drugs, never killed someone, never had guns. You think because he did a few immature things he has "character" concerns. People GET REAL

Did you even read what Plan said? He said Emotional/ Mental Baggage, which it is obvious Dez has dealt with. Read things before you post.
