You've got to be kidding? Who did the Packers tick off to get this kind of terrible luck all season? At this rate Aaron best start begging to not play anymore and throw in the towel. Man this sucks! |

Good grief. Is there a cursed Indian burial ground under Lambeau? This is absurd. |

Whatever. Starks experiment is over. Dude cant stay healthy, then again neither can anybody else (must be something in the water)
I want to see DuJuan Harris get some reps.
BTW, How old is Tim Hightower? How about Steve Slaton? Those guys are young cheap options that could contribute in the passing game.
TT needs to explore some other options |

Don't think Hightower would really work in our scheme, not that he really does good in anyone elses scheme.
Slaton though, that could work... |

TT needs to explore some other options | Slaton hasn't had a meaningful career since 2009 so no thanks on that. Hightower is a good 3rd down type back but that's not what we need. Still say it's Grant or we are rolling with the trash we got. _________________

Grant couldn't make any teams this year...I think we give our guys a chance... _________________

Grant couldn't make any teams this year...I think we give our guys a chance... | Grant is a starter. If a team doesn't look at him as a starter or time share back, then they shy away. Doesn't mean he can't contribute still. #3 backs need to play ST's. Teams go into a season with there top backs and guys that know there system so it's always hard to get a Grant type in the games mid season. For us it wouldn't be because he knows our system. _________________

Either way, I think we are better off rolling with what we have. Grant is the only guy out there that wouldn't have a major learning period before being effective in the offense as a whole. I don't think Starks has been really any better than Green, they've just been used in different roles in the offense. Green is better running out of the spread sets the Packers use as a base, and Starks is better as a late game closer in a 2 RB power set. I think we'll be fine with Green as long as we give him the plays that work for him and don't try and stick round pegs in a square hole and run him in 2 back lead type sets. _________________
