As the GM, Heckert should be making reports from time to time with updates. Why has he been silent and invisible since media speculation after Haslam purchased team?
I am pro Heckert and hope he as well as his staff are retained. In regards to free agency, Heckert has been rightfully cautious but we really need to overpay 2-3 core players in this year's FA to finish the foundation that Holmgren did not complete. |

Why would heckert be putting out stories to the media? What reports and updates are you talking about? I don't understand what you expect to see from him at this point of the season? _________________

Calling it now, Heckert wins Exec of the Year and gets canned b/c Banner wants to bring in his guy. And all signs are pointing to Mike "I drafted Jamarcus Russell and thought Joe Haden was crap when he ran a 4.6 40 at his pro day" Lombardi...
I can't even imagine if Heckert goes, he is an amazing talent evaluator and has built this roster the right way. Imagine if Heckert gets the boot and the next GM is a fail, the Browns are doomed [/panic rant]. Okay, I'll be positive again... _________________

What's Heckert doing? Evaluating talent.
I'd rather he keep doing that than talk to the media about bs.
What's Lombardi doing? Talking.
I'd rather he keep doing that than try to evaluate talent for us. _________________
