Anyone have PFF on him would appreciate?
He is on pace for over 100 tackles. Nearly 15 PD & no picks. Been getting moved around allot from the 1, 2, & nickle. He had to play Dez Bryant because of Sheldon Browns speed being better suited for Austin. That is the only time I felt like shiiiit about his play. They where scheming the whole team around dragging Bryant in good routes to target him only.
When I watch him he flashes excellent awareness & looks like a very sticky super fluid speedy man cover corner. He has been playing incredible all season for a late round pick & right now I really don't see a better "nickle" available in draft or FA. He is also a very strong situation cover guy for slots & speedy guys like DeSean Jackson who was 4 - 11 catches targets.
He tackles extremely well for his size. I could see him getting 1 rep weekly on DB pass rush plays as well. His acceleration is very nice. Could be the most fluid agile DB in the entire NFL.
Can Skrine be the #2? I think he can cover any teams #1 if 6'1 or less. When matched up against shorts, slots, & speeds he is winning those battles. I would like for him to get a pick today and end his drought.
What is Skrine worth in your opinion?
Can our Defenses scheme well with 2 Micro DB's like Skrine "Honey Badger"?
I look for a good game from Buster today. |

Skrine is at best a #3 IMO. Any WR with some size owns him. He is much more effective on the inside as well. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

| He's on pace for 100 tackles because teams pick on him, not because he actually is blowing up runs to the outside. |

Hes good when hes on guys his size. I think he could do well against Oakland today if he matches up with one of their speedy WRs. Hes a beast on ST as well. _________________

Is this a joke? This guy has been abused in any situation he was asked cover a legit WR. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

We end up winning. He has a solid 4 plays as the nickle & your crabbing on a 5th rounder. He played good today. |

No he didn't. Gave up a TD and took a 15 yard penalty on ST, also gave up probably 6 catches. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

ok, then who gave up the other 28 catches and the other passing TD?
and hey, maybe you can explain why the rookie safety broke to the other side of the field at the start of that TD play? _________________

The team winning has no correlation to how well he played individually.
He's been burnt all season when asked to be anything more than a 4th CB. I didn't really think that was even an opinion? _________________

Skrine is a dime back, forced to play nickel and at times, start. With Brown being 34 and no solid #2 CBs behind him, this needs to be a major priority in the off season.
As another poster said, if Skrine has 100 tackles that's a sign opposing QBs have identified him as the weak link and pick on him at will. _________________

The issue with skrine are like the issues with many other players on the team, young developing players forced into starting roles before they are ready. _________________
