| Makes sense. I really like DJ Swearinger. Very consistent. Doesn't make splash plays like you would want to see but and then they play cover 2 so it just might restrict him from do so. |

I realize that value might not be there if we lose out however is it that wrong if we grab a player who potentially take over as a starter at inside linebacker position? Maurkice pouncey kind of pick you know?
I want dion jordan because I love his potentials but realistically I feel like its a hard-on between Jesse Williams and C.J. Mosley. Both are likely to take over (with casey hampton being released if that's the case) or if the team feel that McLendon can be just as good as, then Mosley it is. A very consistent player, would allow Timmons to make more splash plays. Just a thought. | why not wait till round 2 and get a bigger Ilb like Kevin Minter or Nico Johnson?
I'm worried that Mosely is a reach based on his size for a 3-4 lb in round 1. I see him being a 4-3 WLB _________________

I like it a lot. I am causously optimistic about Mingo. I like his motor and intangibles but his stats don't match.
Reid in 2 fit the value and need.
Swope has Steelers WR written all over him. He is a tough hard nosed football player. He is a Hines Ward type player. |

I'd take a backup OLB that can get to the QB. It seems our starters can't do that, so why not take Mingo(or another passrusher)? _________________

I like Jamie Collins think he has great pass rush skill and plays standing up. He'd be a good 2nd/3rd round pick.
My mock drafts have changed drastically over the passed few weeks. _________________

| Quote: | Well there's at least one less Alabama player that will be selected during the NFL Draft this spring. Linebacker C.J. Mosley will be back in Tuscaloosa and causing problems for SEC offenses in 2013.
Mosley told USA Today's George Schroeder that he'll be returning to Alabama for another season instead of leaving school early to enter the NFL Draft. Mosley is ranked as the third-best outside linebacker by NFLDraftScout.com and was projected as a first-round pick. |

Looks like we can take C.J.Mosley off all mocks and talk. Looks like He will return to Alabama for his senior season. _________________

| Quote: | 21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Johnathan Jenkins*, DT, Georgia
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is frustrated by his team's inability to get to the quarterback this season, and the team could opt for a pass-rusher such as Lemonier or BYU's Ezekiel Ansah. However, Jenkins is a good fit as the successor to Casey Hampton in the middle of Pittsburgh's 3-4 defense. Jenkins has the size to occupy blockers and stuff the run and occasionally provide interior pressure on the quarterback. |
I see that Todd McShay has us taking Jenkins in the 1st @21. His draft is kinda different. He has Te'o falling to 11 in Buffalo and Jarvis Jones falling to 13 in New Orleans and the Chiefs taking Star at #1. I'm not a huge fan of McShay but I always like to see who the" big 3" have projected to us.
Personally I wouldn't be upset with the pick. Big Snack is pretty much done and Ta'Amu might be playing for the Western Penn football league next season. _________________

I think that Jenkins would be a great pick for us, we have to get better at stopping the run. I would in no way be upset if we landed Jenkins. However, Jarvis Jones falling to 13, I would really be interested in trading up for him. |
