Agreed he's a prototypical LDE.

When I have watched him play in big games I have been less than impressed...

But the same goes for most of the other high rated DEs in this group.

Really disappointing for what was supposed to be an outstanding year for DEs.

Yep. I went to Edinboro and know a lot of General McLane kids.

Really like the 3rd round selection of Wilson. He is very athletic and has a lot of potential.

On the anti-Werner posts. Here is my reasoning. He has the next highest level of talent and athletism, while at the same time being very raw too.

If you would prefer Montgomery Mingo or Okafer vs Werner just at least post why.

I honestly would rather go Corner in the first

I hear you and toyed with it as well. DE vs CB the talent in the 3rd round is higher for CB's than DE's and talent in the 1st round is higher for DE's than CB's. OR stated another way it's easier to find a RDE in the 1st and a #2 CB in the 3rd.

Some folks @ CBS disagree

43 LDE's aren't ranked that high

Not a huge fan of Werner, so that pretty much sums it up.

I like Moore and Jordan more as they are a bit more explosive/athletic IMO and would fit in better opposite Sheard IMO.

I prefer Moore as well.

As for Jordon IMO he is a LB, BTW the NCAA agrees.

11/21/12 - 2012 BUTKUS AWARD FINALIST (NATION'S BEST LINEBACKER): Dion Jordan, Oregon (Sr.)...Oregon senior Dion Jordan is one of five finalists for the Butkus Award, presented annually to the nation's top linebacker. The others to make the final cut: C.J. Mosley of Alabama, Jarvis Jones of Georgia, Kevin Minter of LSU and Manti Te'o of Notre Dame. Jordan, from Chandler, Ariz., has missed time in recent games due to a shoulder injury. On the season he has 42 tackles (24 solo, 18 assists), 10.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and three forced fumbles. - Oregonian Sports

If the Browns went to the 34 Jordon would be my number 2 prospect after Moore.

I'm not a big fan of taking Werner top 10, but I'm also not a huge fan of a lot of the other top 10 options we have. I guess we could do much worse, like by drafting a guard in that spot... Laughing I'd probably be happier with Werner than Te'o as well.
