Why would the Skins sit RGIII in Week 17 when it could mean winning the division and hosting a playoff game? Obviously, if RGIII isn't completely healthy, he won't play. But if he's healthy, he'll play in the crucial regular-season finale. Well, if the Boys and Giants lose on Sunday and Redskins win, then the season finale will be a meaningless game.

Not true. At least, not according to ESPN's playoff machine.

Correct - if the Boys beat the skins in week 17 and the Giants lose one of the next two, we win the division due to tie breakers

All the more reason for the Skins to play RGIII in Week 17 should he be healthy.
