Welcome to Macklemore's 2013 Pre-Combine Mock, where fantasy stays a fantasy.

Let me start of by saying I envision the Oakland Raiders finishing with a 4-12 record securing the number 3 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Now, this isn't my take on what I think Reggie McKenzie would do, otherwise the title would read.. Macklemore the Great Predicts Raiders off-season.

January 2013

Yeah, That's right, Dennis Allen is canned after one turrible season, Raider Nation is divided. Not, I, For I do not like this man. Dennis has shown me nothing, nothing to deserve this job and nothing to preserve it.

Reggie McKenzie - "I'd like to start off by apologizing to Raider Nation, It was a mistake to hire Dennis Allen, I'm glad I came to my senses and fired him before more of your precious time was wasted."

Mark Davis - "It's still the 70's somewhere, amirite?"

Introducing the Raiders Newest Head Coach, Jon Gruden

- [insert mind-numbing coach talk here]

Releases
Tommy Kelly
Rolando McClain (do I need to explain?)
Dave Tollefson (who?, exactly)

Free Agency
Oakland Raiders FA's
QB - Matt Leinart Resign (2yr, 2.5m)
RB - Jeremy Stewart (1yr, min)
RB - Mike Goodson (1yr, vet min)
FB - Owen Schmitt
WR - Duke Calhoun
WR - Derek Hagan
TE - Brandon Myers
OL - Zach Hurd (1yr, min)
OT - Khalif Barnes
C - Alex Parsons (1yr, min)
OG - Cooper Carlisle
DT - Desmond Bryant (2yr, 3mil)
DE - Andre Carter
DE - Matt Shaughnessy (2yr, 2.5mil)
LB - Kaelin Burnett (1yr, min)
LB - Omar Gaither
LB - Philip Wheeler
CB - Brandian Ross (1yr, min)
DB - Phillip Adams (RFA)
DB - Coye Francies (RFA)
S - Matt Giordano
CB - Joselio Hanson
SS - Michael Mitchell
CB - Shawntae Spencer
DB - Ronald Bartell
P - Shane Lechler

- So pretty much letting all these scrubs walk, the only notable free agent is Shane Lechler and his replacement is already on the roster.

UFA's

Jermichael Finley - (1yr, 5mil)

Randy Starks - (5yr, 30mil)

I know we have huge holes at CB and DE, but we have two first round picks in 2014 and in this scenario I would fix them in the future... we have some many holes cant find 22 new starters in one offseason.

When did we start thinking it was okay to draft a RT in the first? Let alone the top 5.

Like Sean Porter. Love the Mathieu pick, but we don't have the locker room for that kind of player. Hell, If I was part of then team, I'd do drugs. I can only imagine a kid with a habit.

Just saw your trades now, still brutal mainly because we hire Gruden as Head coach.

Sorry, I did miss that. But that doesn't change the fact that we do not take a RT in the first. D or QB is the answer.

can anyone tell me what DA has done to deserve a head coaching job in the NFL? or even keep it? the only thing I hear from everyone on this board is our team sucks and nobody could succeed.. well Hue Jackson a rookie coach went 8-8 with this team.

I thought about taking a CB but I figured Banks would be gone and I'm not a fan of Milliner.

what are some of your suggestions for the first round pick?

and this draft is absolutely horrid for QB's, ew.. cant believe you would suggest that.

I'm with Mackelmore. Knapp needs to go and Allen I'm stil on the fence. I just don't see him with any passion, he's a brick wall on the sidelines. I want a coach who's gonna light a fire under these guys.

Like the draft. Although I think back to back LB might be a little much. Could use on a CB and get a FA scrub LB. we don't want all our scrubs at CB.
