I don't think the little birdy knows. The little birdy is also very worried that his boss in the organization will be fired and that he may too. _________________

Also, if the birdy knows then so will Ken and most of the staff and so will all of those in the Front Office. |
Have to figure the staff knows with the way the season has played out that some heads are gonna roll.
Horton has taken a D that was ranking in the back half of the NFL and turned it into a Top 10, arguably Top 5 unit. They don't want to lose him and who knows what he can do as a HC. Now having a 50 burger dropped on your face isn't a good resume builder but I think that had more to do with Whiz and frustration mounting in the team with him.
Staff changes will help dictate the draft for next season too, so it should be interesting to see how this shakes out. |

A birdy in this situation has probably felt it coming with the performance of the team, though that does not neccessarily reflect on the birdy, but more on any incoming "bosses" wanting to clean house and hire their own staff.
Now to go around all this code, damn that sucks for him, but is this hinting at him being very worried at Rod Graves being fired, or is this birdy not quite at that level of the business. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I know it is early to throw out names and it will be very interesting to see how Ray would go about hiring a coaching staff.
I like Ken Zampese for Offensive Coordinator
One guy to note is that Ray worked with Darren Perry in Pittsburgh for three seasons, Perry and Cioffi both worked in Cincinnati with Lebeau.
Another random note that probably means nothing. Ray Horton was a defensive back on those Dallas Cowboys teams of the mid 90's when Norv Turner was the Offensive Coordinator there.
Horton coached on the 2002 and 2003 Lions teams with a Steve Mariucci coached team and a Marty Morinwheg coached team. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Fo the three guys closest to Graves only one of them would, in my mind, have much to be worried about and that would be Quentin Harris. Steve Keim and Jason Licht would seem safe in their positions, but hey, I could be wrong. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
