Unfortunately, it means the end of Whiz, but he had a good run, was very close to a superbowl victory, which is more than can be said about a lot of head coaches.
As mentioned by others, an offensive co-ordinator is a must. Although I worry that they will only be so effective with our current talent on the o-line and at qb.
Time will tell. |
Bolded: Whether it's Horton or Whiz or whoever, I think we can all agree that all signs are pointing to our head coach/general manager making big time changes to the offensive player personnel. We're last or 2nd to last in nearly every offensive category. |
Lucky for us, there's only one way to go from here :p _________________

Doesn't seem right. |
Graves is good by me. Don't know how anyone else feels but he's good by me. Every player we needed to sign got signed. Daryl Washington's contract is almost a joke. He should be making 1 and a half times what Graves signed him for. |
I agree, I think Graves has done a really good job. He has a good history with finding good late round picks that can contribute like David Carter, LSH, Hightower, and Sherman. Even going back, he drafted Antonio Smith, Reggie Wells and Steve Breaston.
I don't think it is fair that people criticize him for the picks that didn't pan out because it is unrealistic to think that each and every single draft pick will be a homerun selection. Every GM misses on draft picks, the key is to not fail spectacularly or consistently and he has certainly done that.
He hasn't thrown bad money around on players either. He should be safe. |

I am in favor of moving Horton up if we are going to lose him but, will the Cards pay top dollar for an OC? Like to see Turner here, I would think Paterno will be a HC in college this year, no one wants him in the NFL after what he did last time.
Hate to see Whiz gone but I understand _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Pretty sure it was more like 4-5 weeks ago, but still. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I guess I would prefer it be at the end of the year.
Whiz at least deserves that. _________________

Guarantee the team who hires Mike McCoy is looking for another Head Coach within 3-4 years. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Here is a question.
Does Ken have a legitimate thought that this season would have been so much different save for the Kolb injury?
I think the fact that he named Skelton the starter out of TC hurts his stance, but ultimately when it mattered I think he was going to stick with Kevin right through if he had stayed healthy and this team likely looks very different right now across the board and in record if Kolb did not get injured. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Still think we lose all but the Falcons game and the Jets game. _________________

That's 6-6. I doubt he's under half as much pressure as he is now at 6-6. _________________
