What a turn around from this group of guys? They are overcoming their struggles. Over the past month we have the best run defense allowing just 3.1 yards a carry. So proud of the guys. Finally playing to their full potential. I have read a ton of negativity lately and these guys are getting the recognition they deserve. Over the last four weeks we are only allowing 268 yards a game which is 2nd behind the Steelers over that stretch.

| Now we are seeing what our defense is about. It starts with our DLine, both Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus have improved. |

And now the voice of doom and gloom... Yes, those surface stats appear positive but look deeper. 2 of the 4 games were against teams ranked 28th and 31st offensively. I just can't get excited over that. NE and Ind.
(!st and 3rd) seem impressive efforts but the Pats scored at will, 7 times in fact, including 4 TDs. Crunch time in that tilt was the Bills getting flattened. The Colts game may be the best of the bunch but it too is suspect. Although 3rd in yardage Indy plummets to 17th in scoring. How
does a legitimate unit even manage that? What really concerns me is that the FO may view this the way they did Jauron's quick start in '08 and reward the wrong people. The final 4 games are against teams ranked 25, 24, 28 and 29 offensively. Buffalo could well be #1 statistically through the 2nd half with Wannstedt considered a genius and Nix thinking he only needs to address one side of the ball. Until the D proves otherwise by stopping some truly good teams I respectfully disagree. |
